Access to Higher Education Diploma

An Access Course at Stockport College will ‘fast-track’ your progress to a wide range of degree and diploma courses at any Higher Education providers. The course is Ideal for learners who are returning to education and there are Parent-friendly classes that run between 10. 00am and 3. 00pm.

No course fees for most 19-23 year old students!
Students aged 24 or over can take out a 24 + Advanced Learning Loan to pay the fees which will be written off on the completion of a HE course afterwards.

An Access to Higher Education course is ideal for learners who wish to progress on to Degrees or Higher Diplomas, on subjects such as -
Nursing & Midwifery
Health Sciences
Science
Engineering
Computing
Social Sciences
Media, Film & Culture
Primary Education
Business Management
Humanities (Sociology, Criminology, Psychology)
Law
Creative Writing

The course is specifically designed to give learners a well-rounded understanding of their chosen ‘pathway’. There are many transferable skills acquired across the course that are applicable to all industries and Level 3 qualifications are continually sort after by employers.
