Our Alpine Introduction Training Courses are the ideal way to develop your skills and experience if you're interested in moving on to expeditions in the Greater Ranges. Courses focus on teaching the key skills required for safe and successful mountaineering in Alpine areas, and the emphasis is on learning as you climb, so you will have plenty of time to absorb the brilliant scenery you are in. All courses are run by IFMGA guides. . The rugby team have trekked up to intermediate camp at 5760m. The walk up from #Everest base camp is very dramatic as the valley reveals the amazing pinnacles of the East Rongbuk Glacier and the camp for the night. From here the views of the glacier and the Himalayan peaks are some of the most dramatic in Tibet. Intermediate Camp is set in a barren world of moraine hills under beautifully sculpted yellow-orange granite cliffs. Everest summit team update - There's been a yak invasion at #Everest Base Camp, we find out what the team's most prized possessions are on expedition, and brace yourself - tomorrow we are starting our journey upstairs. We say goodbye to luxury and are looking forward to reducing the every expanding waist line and popping headache pills. To be a high altitude mountaineer you have to be comfortable in suffering. Our suffering starts tomorrow.

The LMAX Exchange Everest Rugby Challenge team have been tasting some local delicacies on their way to #Everest base camp - today gecko! They have also driven to the high point at the National Park entrance gateway of 5220m, and imagined their first sighting of Everest as it was obscured by clouds..plenty of time to see it when they get closer! Our #Everest team have had their Puja this morning and it's now time to get all the kit organised for moving up the mountain. Aconcagua often presents itself as the next logical step after Kilimanjaro or Elbrus. It is often described as a 'trek' or 'a technically easy peak', however at 6962m it is in fact the highest mountain outside of the Himalayas and is not as easy as people are led to believe.

Just came back from the Rila and Pirin Mountains Trek, had an excellent experience and Adventure Peaks were incredibly helpful and friendly during the entire process. I will be using Adventure Peaks again!

I want to hike up Mt. Lenin. Not enough money I will start saving! Great site! Lots of information very informative site. Great that I found this site! Could you get me brochure so I could hike all of Russia's 7000m. Peaks!
