Al Jamia Al-Kamliyyah Academy is an Islamic institution which was founded in early 2015 and is led by Shyakh Maulana Mahmud Hassan Kamal Sahib. Maulana Mahmud is the son of the late well known Shaykh-ul-Hadith Maulana Muhammad Kamal R. A. Maulana Mahmud completed Hifdh (Memorisation of the Qur'an) in his Fathers Islamic institute in Nottingham by the age of 14. Maulana Mahmud also studied his 'Alimiyyah course in the Nottingham Islamic Institute where great Scholars like Shaykh Hassan Ali and Shaykh Shams Ad-Duha also received their training. As well as this, Maulana studied for 2 years in Pakistan with the local Ulamā in Swat Valley where he is originally from.

A side from his Islamic education Maulana has also obtained a B. A. in Education Studies and has a Masters degree in European Philosophy from Manchester University.
Maulana is known for his unique Quran recitation and most of his time is spent trying to improve the services of Al-Kamliyyah institute.
At Al-Kamaliyyah we pride ourselves on our eclectic ethos of producing ‘all rounded’ Muslim students of the highest quality. We endeavour to ensure all of our students have the necessary Islamic principles and qualities to succeed in the modern world and more importantly in the Ackira.

These principles and qualities are primarily based around four qualities (The Four T’s. ) At Al-Kamiliyyah we aim to go above and beyond by not only offering Ta’leem (Education), but along with this we strive to ensure our students develop other very important Islamic principles and qualities. These include Tarbiyyah (Islamic Manners and Etiquettes), Tazkiyyah (Refining the Character and Spiritual Nature) and Tableegh (Dawah and Spreading the Deen).
Some of the ways in which Al-Kamilyyah does this is by having regular classes for Hadith, Arabic and Quran Tafsir some of which are broadcast online.

We also have a Madressah set up Monday-Friday 5-7pm where children learn to read the Quran, once they have learn the Quran they have the option of enrolling onto the Hifdth Programme.

Al-Kamiliyyah also regularly takes youngsters from the locally out on various trips to help build their character, skills and imaan.
Al-Kamaliyyah is currently in the process of developing a high-end educational and interactive website. For this we require media resources and quality equipment. The cost for this will be around *£5, 000*. Please support the propagation of authentic DEEN (Islam) by qualified Ulema.
