Went for saturday lunch and had brilliant service by a very smiley waitress. Food was very tasty and of high standard and childrens meal had a healthy twist to it, which is hard to find. Would fully recommend. Nice touch was when husband was eating his cheeseboard and waitress brought over some additional crackers, without him even considering he was about to run out

User

We went here on a Friday evening, sat in the parlour, and had a thoroughly fab time. Extremely creative and tasty drinks. Food was excellent. Service second to none - plenty of smiles and conversation, very attentive - we were looked after really well. Great place and I’ll certainly be returning!

User

We went for Valentine's Menu...not a cheap night out but worth every penny! The service, atmosphere and food were all sensational, and unlike most finer dining style restaurants, when we left we were absolutely stuffed! Haven't been before so can't say anything for the standard menu, but they went to a lot of effort for Valentine's and it really showed! Was a great night and would recommend!

User

We called in for lunch last week and had a very pleasant surprise. The food was first class. The drinks superb and the friendly and efficient staff added the finishing touches to our visit. Will definitely come again.

User

Stunning outside area, absolutely beautiful inside, cocktails amazing and the surprise hand made truffles for my friends 50th were delicious, served by singing staff.

We will be back!!! ❤️

User

Spent the afternoon on the terrace yesterday due to the weather being beautiful. We called in at around 2ish for a pot of tea and scones and moved on to the wine and cocktails. We also sampled a few of the small plates and all where delicious. This is a great place to visit in Skipton especially when the sun shines!😊

User

Really enjoyed our afternoon, food was lush along with some fizz. Staff were really attentive and friendly , the restaurant is very modern and comfortable with lovely blankets and patio heaters outside to keep u nice and warm. The live music is an added bonus, talented guy - overall a fantastic day and highly recommended

User

My wife and I visited Alexanders on Sunday for afternoon tea. We even got a free upgrade to the prosecco lunch! My wife is a vegetarian who eats fish and I can't eat egg or poultry, so we can be fairly difficult to cater for. However, not only was the food amazing, it was perfect for our dietary requirements. Although a crab dish was offered to my wife, she stated that she doesn't eat shell fish and the waitress was quick to bring her something more suitable.

With a variety of special teas and coffee on offer we were spoilt for choice. The selection of sandwiches, cakes and scones were amazing. I cannot fault the quality of the food. The portions were ample, even for a big fella like me! I can eat a lot but struggled to finish the delectable little sweets at the end.

I would highly recommend the afternoon tea. Service was fantastic and personable, good atmosphere and lovely food. Overall a wonderful way to spend a lazy Sunday.

User

Me and my Husband had a beautiful meal here at Alexander’s. Service was good, we weren’t been hounded every couple of minutes for our orders. Nice and relaxed atmosphere and the food was beautiful cooked and presented. We highly recommend booking here. Looking forward to the summer months enjoying a few evening cocktails in the garden areas

User

If visiting Skipton must stop for lunch at Alexanders. During our stay at Silsden we walked along the canal in Skipton and noticed the garden area at the rear. Made a point to look for it on the main street and when in.

We have now been twice this week for lunch and can not fault the service, the food nor the staff. Yes we were blessed with lovely sunny weather but it was so relaxing having lunch outside in the shade. And yes we would go again when back down this way.

User

I went for the single mingle night on Valentine's, fab! I've never been before, loved the cocktails that i had, wow and how i loved the food that we were provided with on the night! The night had a great atmosphere and fun little events, and the guy singing- the first song i didn't even realise that it wasn't a CD! Very welcoming and a lovely place to go, i'll certainly be returning. Thank you for being my valentine

User

I went for the Valentines evening, the food was excellent and a very good price for such a high standard of cuisine. The presentation of the restaurant and the food was immaculate. The service was very prompt, friendly and professional and the overall ambiance was romantic and relaxing with the added bonus of live music, my husband couldn’t have picked a better place for our date night.

User

Great might spent here. Menu changed since last time, but both time small dishes amazing. It isn't a cheap meal however I think this reflects the extremely attentive service ( wine glass never empty, and when husband tried to pour own wine a waitress was immediately over) and the beautiful tasting and presented food

The Alexanders cocktail to finish was to die for! Thank you

User

Great atmosphere, brilliant service - food, staff & decor excellent - shame it was too cold to sit outside as the terrace & gardens look amazing!! - only criticism not made the best use of space inside - tables too small & entrance lobby under-utilised - looks closed when u pass - doesn't invite passers by in - but maybe that was the intention??

User

Fantastic food (especially the gelato) wonderful relaxed atmosphere & brilliant service to top it off. Skipton is very lucky to have Alexanders!

User

A pleasure to write a review for this fantastic place. Having been recommended by others, we went on Wednesday evening and were very pleasantly impressed!

Food excellent, service very friendly and cocktails spectacular!

This is not a cheap place, but it is very, very good.

Well done, Alexander’s, and happy first birthday.

User

Really lovely place for a drink the bar itself had been very well done. The drinks are pricey as is the food but the environment is very nice. Not sure we would eat there as not a huge tapas fan but will definitely return for drinks

User

Came for a midweek visit for my husbands birthday for cocktails ! Not one person greeted us as we walked in ( we must of passed 5 or 6 waiting staff plus 2 kitchen staff . Eventually we were offered seats in the secret garden , but in the end gave up waiting for menus so went to get them ourselves . The cocktails were actually delicious but the service terrible - was slightly embarrassing as was supposed to be a lovely birthday treat . The place is lovely , but the service really lets them down , I hope they will up their game as it’s a lovely venue

User

Hi I have just been in and enjoyed the drinks, but the general manager was really poor. I was sitting in the bar speaking in Hungarian with my friend and she was very aggressive with me and told me not to speak Hungarian(I could call it racism). I am a guest at Alexanders so why do I have to speak English with my friend? I really like going to Alexanders but from now on I'm not sure I would feel welcome, especially because I spend my money there! I don't normally complain but I feel this is out of order!
