Unreal borgz, staff were great, and music was spot on. Travelled from newcastle and was worth the trip.

Highly recommended.

I have always liked it here but when I took my mum who is allergic to cheese, I was really impressed. The staff ensured her burger was not grilled on the same grill as the cheesed burgers, and even ensured the chips were not fried in the same fryer as the mac balls. The manager even came over to assure us of what would be done. And all of this was done voluntarly by the staff - all we did was request a burger without cheese due to my mum's allergy and they did the rest!

Seriously awesome service. Thanks guys.

Amazing enough said hahaha, food was by far the best burger ive ever tasted and was there just in time for cocktail hour 3 till 7

5* table table service nothing was to much and everthing was explained on the menu

Quoted an hours wait for a table but got us seated inside 45 mins. Place was half empty, not enough staff in the front of house or kitchen.



Waited an hour for food to arrive, server was clearly annoyed by the lack of help and the number of tables she was looking after. Didn’t manage an ice cream for birthday boy. We are busy is not an excuse that washes with an 8 year old! It was the managers idea when we arrived, and we reminded them twice.



Didn’t feel that welcome or looked after. Got the impression other tables around us were getting the same poor service. Food was ok, side orders were not particularly hot. Not that anybody asked.

It was a typical Friday night, the restaurant was heaving. I got there and got presented with a buzzer and spent the next thirty minutes looking intently at it -then after around 35-40 minutes it was time for dinner. We got there, spent 3 minutes looking at the menu and we ordered our burgers. The burgers arrived 15 minutes later, I’d made my through the sides, burgers etc it wasn’t until I opened up my final burger to be presented with a hair (that had i not opened up my burger I would have eaten) - I mentioned this to the waitress she apologised and brought over the manager and he apologised. The manager then went onto say he’d have given me a new one had I asked and my response was that it was too late, he then took my burger off the menu. However it wasn’t until we got the bill that I realised they’d taken the cheaper burger off instead of my actual burger. This is the first time I’ve had a bad experience here, the staff were nice and apologetic but I’m still a little disappointed.

Had to try this place because of reviews and recommendations from friends, disappointing really, Staff friendly enough, burger was a let down would not say the best in Manchester by a long way.

I asked for hot Chilli sauce on mine which was none existent in fact the sauce which was on the burger was cold and not spicy at all, Curly Fries were covered in a sauce which made them very soggy, sauce would have been better on the side.

Bar tender was good making up a mock-tail for me but upon arrival we were told immediately we need this table an hr later despite booking in advance and pre-ordering food! I was shocked to hear this tbh! Felt like they were rushing us before we’d even sat down! Burgers are very sloppily put together and if I’d of gone with my hubby, he would of walked out having seen the burgers. The chicken wings were good, as was the sweet potatoe fries!

Atmosphere was great and the staff were friendly and upbeat! The waitress serving us was very friendly and quickly took our drink orders. I tried the cherry bomb cocktail which was perfect!

Unfortunately from here things quickly went down hill, browsing through the menu looking for something that was vegan nothing. Just the fries assuming they are cooked in vegetable or sunflower oil.

While the waitress was amazing and came up with a vegan alternative, it meant changing of the bun, the main portion of the burger (halloumi cheese) and none of the sauces or relishes which in essence was £9 for a bun with a mushroom, onion and tomato in.

My meat eating friends seemed ecstatic and with all of the cheese sauce dripping from their burgers I can see why they give you a kitchen roll at the table!

Very disappointed after hearing such good things about the place, that their vegan offerings were none existent! May try again in the future and see if the menu has improved.

waited over an hour for a burger and fries. burger tasted v dry . bacon fries tasted too salty. they defiantly wernt fresh as the 1st batch served to us were cold and soggy. 2nd batch were hot but had too much salt on. barely even edible. staff v ignorant and rude. ignore you when you want their attention to take order etc. £40 for 1 round of drinks and 2 burgers and fries..will most definitely wont be in a hurry to return



note to management: please train the front desk ladies to at least have basic customer service like a smile or a thank you. the 2 girls looked miserable and v unwelcoming as we were being served by them . didnt even bother to acknowledge us as our party of 12 were leaving

found human hair in my childs food the lady then took the hair out and gave my son.the same burger back didnt offer him a fresh burger just said will knock it of the bill so my sun didnt eat wont be going back again

Was told we had a 45 minute to be seated, no problem as a wait must mean it’s pretty good. Finally got seated, and ready to eat. We ordered food but i soon noticed we had 5 tables free around us considering we had a 45 minute wait seemed odd and obviously they have flaws in booking procedures. Anyway ordered food then... waited and waited and waited, waited abit longer then asked the waited how long food would be, to be told food would be 15minutes. After a 45 minute wait to be seated then a 50minute for burger and chips, was safe to say we was thouroughly dissapointed. To top it off when we tried to pay the waiter, took ten minutes to find the payment machine, to which we just got up and went to pay at the bar after her incompetence. If you enjoy waiting for food.... I can’t recomend highly enough

There was 21 of us here for a Murder Mystery night 21/10, the venue was very ignorant to what was needed, as the music was so loud that we couldn't hear each other speak, the bar staff were very slow and ignorant they looked either drunk or drugged this is the upstairs bar I couldn't comment on the bar downstairs as we didn't use that bar, we just found the venue very disappointing and would not return.

Terrible poor customer service. Ordered a gluten free bun but was given a regular one. Ignored multiple complaints, never answered the phone, refused to reply to emails.

There are a lot of better burger places in Manchester, this place hasn't been any good for years - now they are rude too.

Small man syndrome bouncer booted my good lady and I out because I filmed myself with the 12 ft gorilla and one of the waitresses was caught on the footage. I kid you not; literally kicked out for that, and that only.



Having gotten in my face numerous times in an aggressive manner, was asked to delete the 10 second gorilla-selfie footage. Obviously refused. Was then treated like a thug and asked to move 30m away from the front of the building to the side path. Quotes from the bouncer; “I’m going to tell your girlfriend you’ve been filming other girls”, “how would your girlfriend feel if she knew you were filming other women”, “you do not have the staffs permission to use that footage”, “it’s a crime to film like that” and “I work here most days, I’m going to ensure you never come here again”.



Shame because I normally love the place, the food and the service (in Manc and other locations such as Liverpool). Soured what would normally be a decent experience.



Would recommend the food. Would not recommend taking your phone out of your pocket...

Disappointing. Spoke to hostess and asked how long it would take to be served (pre theatre time constraints) was told from order approx 15 minutes. Order taken promptly. 15 mins later we chased the order. We added that if it was more than five minutes we would have to cancel. The waiter came and apologised. Our order was behind a large group order. A manager came over too and apologised. We cancelled the order and left. I must say all staff were very pleasant and dealt with our disappointment very well. But it was very disappointing :(

This company once was good - five or six years ago in their old location. You should avoid it like the plague now.

Arrogant staff who ignore complaints, food below average.

There are lots of better places to get a much better burger and be treated a lot better at the same time. Spend your money elsewhere!
