Went here last night as a party of 17 The meal was outstanding the service great. Owner was extremely kind giving us complementary bottles presecco. Great night would go again and definitely recommend this place. Thank you for a lovely night.

We were a party of 19 yesterday evening celebrating my husbands 70th birthday. Included in that party were 6 children, 2 of whom are fussy eaters. We were asked to pick off the 2 party menus which was no problem whatsoever. I asked if the 2 fussy ones could have food not on that menu and it was done with no problem. The food was lovely as usual and Robert was at his best laughing & joking with us especially the children. Even though we were a big party there was no pressure on us to complete our meal and leave. Thank you Robert and his staff for a lovely evening

We arrived before opening time but were welcomed and shown to a table. The food was lovely and they were very accommodating for the little one. Robert the owner was very welcoming and friendly. He was great with the little one. All in all good experience. Thank you.

Visited yesterday for lunch. This was my first visit and I was very impressed with the service. The staff were very attentive and friendly. Every aspect from the meet and greet to the table service was excellent. The food was very nice and was served promptly. Great experience overall and will definitely return for a lunchtime meal or evening meal. Thumbs up from me

Incredible food as always - the only issue with last night is we waited nearly 20 mins for a round of drinks to come out (there was only 5 of us) by this point we were nearly through our main meal, I wouldn’t have minded so much but It was also very warm in there last night. Besides this though staff were great as per and food spot on. Have to admit this was the first ever time we’ve had to wait so long for drinks though.

Had a lovely meal for my birthday yesterday with my Fiancé, the staff were very warm and welcoming and made sure you were looked after, the food came together like it should and was all fresh and hot and tasted lovely, thank you for making my birthday meal enjoyable would definitely return

Went for my first time last night, arrived 5 minutes late due to the taxi being late and had my elderly mother ( in a wheelchair) to celebrate her birthday. We were being pressured into ordering our food, but asked for a few more minutes. Again the waiter came putting the pressure on to order, but we were trying to order drinks and look at the menu and help my mum decide, so again asked for more time. I was told that we needed to be ordering so I told the waiter I didn't like how we were being rushed to order. His reply was that we only had the table for 2 hours as that was there policy! I made it clear that I would not be rushed or pressurised into a 2 hour slot.

When the food arrived it was very nice, and the waiter came back to tell that he had sorted things out and there was now no rush, he also apologised for making me feel this way, things then turned around and we enjoyed our eating experience.

As we were leaving the restaurant the waiter asked if we had enjoyed our visit. I told him I didn't live local and often ate out in London and had never experienced the initial pressure, but once that had been resolved it had turned around and became a lovely night.

we felt like we were being ripped off cos we're made to order from party menus which were 3 courses costing £23 or £29 a head but isn't fair as we didn't want all the courses and wasn't given the option to choose from a normal menu.

I rang day before to enquire why we was being made to order from these and the owner was very rude and abrupt saying it's party menu or nothing

as a deposit of £10 per person had been paid we went.

we got there early and wasn't made very welcome so ended up waiting in car park.

when we were seated theg brought beers out to us that were warm so we sent them back to put in freezer.

mix up with a starter. then mix up with my meal and when I tried to explain he was so rude and started speaking over me

The food was ok but nothing special for amount we paid.

Have been here many times and had positive experiences, but last night whike there for a birthday celebration I found Robert to be very rude, sharp with everyone and rushed us all to place our orders even though it wasn't busy. It seemed like he was in a very bad mood which is fine if you're not working with people! :(

Visited for my friend's birthday last night. Some of us arrived twenty five minutes early as we'd brought a cake as a surprise, was more than happy to wait upstairs in the bar until our table time. However we weren't seated until 20 minutes past that. The manager was frustrated there were two people less in our party than we originally booked, however this had been discussed with the restaurant on three separate occasions during the day when they repeatedly rang to confirm how many were coming. Despite the restaurant being half empty, we were asked for our orders upstairs which made is seem very rushed, and unneccessary. The manager was really abrupt and rude over things he didn't need to be, such as when asked what was in the mixed seafood, his reply was mixed seafood! The manager asked if we wanted our garlic breads earlier than the starters, we said yes, however they all arrived at the same time. Despite asking the waiters to hold them back a few moments three times, we still ended up eating them right after another and the manager once again came over and tried to argue that we'd asked for them at the same time. Two of the starters had daddy long legs flies in them, which they replaced, but didn't apologise for. One of the best dishes has now been taken off the menu, which was the reason why we had gone there in the first place. My family already refuse to go back anymore because of similar experiences and I won't be returning either. Incredibly disappointing.

Visited Puccinis last night for my birthday. Completely ruined by Roberto, who was very rude to all of us. We were late to sit down, which wasn't a massive issue as we were enjoying a drink in the bar. But Roberto was very defensive about the fact that we had arrived earlier than a booking at 8pm, but when we asked if we'd be sat down soon it was 8.15pm.

Two of the starters had flies in. When I asked if we could have fresh starters made we were told that if we were eating our starters and found flies in any of the others, only then could we have them re made!! We also weren't given an apology for this happening.

I was disappointed to see the menu has changed and my favourite dish has been taken off. But I suppose now there's absolutely no reason why I need to go back. Roberto treats his staff terrible and even referred to one member as 'the foreign guy'. It's a real shame because since the restaurant opened I've always celebrated my birthday there.

Not even 1* I don't know where to start the food was awful. I asked for a garlic bread and a young lad looked at me like I was a alien! The vegetables were dreadful they all came out separate at £4 a dish!!!!! Diabolical. Wouldn't go again was over priced and tasteless. I defiantly wouldn't recommend!

Myself and my husband had been to Ikea and thought we would give Puccini Ashton a try after being regular customers to our own Puccini in Swinton. We were very disappointed and upset by the way we were treated by a member of what seemed to be a senior member of staff. Our starters arrived , I was given the wrong starter and my husband’s was slightly wrong. We brought it to the attention of our waiter who straight away was on the defensive, his manner was upsetting and quite aggressive towards us. After this we wanted to pay for the drinks we had and to leave. We were persuaded to stay by another member of staff which reluctantly we did. To be honest it spoiled the evening completely. I have given 1 star for the young waitress who served us none of this was her fault.

Late to sit us down and when mentioned to the staff they got very defensive and tried to put the blame back on us. Asked for garlic bread before starter, but they all came together again defensive when we mentioned it and said we weren't ready for them yet. 2 starters had flies in them but they did make new ones. The waitresses here are too good for the place. Over priced, rude owner.

I went for lunch with my baby and few other mums and their babies. As we were leaving another customer started to give us mums abuse about going there with our babies. Puccini staff was unhelpful when we were getting abused by the other customer. Stating mums and babies shouldn’t be going there if babies are crying. Instead of saying anything to the other customer, they decided to tell me to go out. This is not a family friendly restaurant and should avoided. I came away feeling really bad because I have a baby.
