We photographed a wedding here today, coming from Derby I didn't know what to expect and wow I was in for a shock! This has got to be the most beautiful chapel I have ever seen, the grounds provided perfect backdrops, inside was beautifully lit with candles that certainly helped set the mood, it really felt intimate and the no rules on what photographers did certainly made a huge difference, the staff was friendly and helpful and performed a lovely ceremony, I really would love to return soon

We married here on Thursday! It was perfect! Such a stunning timeless place!



The minister was fantastic and made everything so personal!!



Special thanks to the owners for entertaining our little ones throughout the pictures!

We had our wedding here in August 2014 and the whole thing from start to finish was beautiful, Everything was sorted out on line as we live 100's of miles from the venue, I wouldn't change a thing. Perfect.

We got married here on the 5th may 2018.. we had a lovely day.. we can't thank heath enough for all his help.. xx

We got married here 2016. The venue is just stunning and our pictures are amazing because of the surroundings. The staff were lovely and showed us around before the booking, a year later we went back to put hearts on the tree as we forgot on the day and the lady opened up and let us take as long as we needed and even took our pictures. Highly recommended for your wedding day.

We got married at anvil hall Gretna green at 6p.m on the 9th august 2014 it was a beautiful day the weather was lovely and the atmosphere was great, we shared our special day with our loved ones and friends. A special day and we would highly recommend anvil hall as a wedding venue such a beautiful place, some beautiful pictures taken and treasured memories forever xx

The happiest day of my life was getting married here...absolutely perfect. A stunning room , beautifully presented and rev Sandie was brilliant. He made us all reflect on our vows and appreciate our commitment to each other. He was funny, we all laughed so much! My only regret was not getting the name of the gentleman assisting with the doors and music and calming my nerves before I entered the room. I will remember our chat forever. Thank you Anvil hall for my perfect wedding day x

I married here on Tuesday 10.7.18. After seeing the photos online it looked stunning & I can tell you it didn’t disappoint. Such a beautiful, peaceful place. We eloped just the two of us in true Gretna fashion. I was worried being just us it might feel a little daunting, but there was absolutely no need to fret. From Heath the owner to Sandy Jamieson the minister & photographer Allison Bogie they all looked after us & made us feel at ease. Cannot thank you enough for such a memorable day. It really was perfect.

Beautiful place the minute I walked in I had tears down my face it was so peaceful it was as if someone had lifted all my troubles away that was the year before I got married I had the exact same feeling the day before we got married when I took my husband and friend to see it I turned to them and they both filled with tears beautiful place beautiful people thank you for making our day 26/10/2015
