We are delighted to announce that AquaStars Swim Academy has been chosen to take part in Tesco’s Bags of Help community grant scheme!
How does it work‚Ěď... Every time you shop at Tesco you will receive a token at the checkout (including self service checkouts) which will allow you the chance to vote for 1 of 3 different community groups in the local area.
For AquaStars the aim is to collect as many tokens as we can in order to receive the top grant which we can use to develop our swimming programme! ūüŹä‚Äć‚ôāÔłŹ

What a fantastic afternoon at the Salford Quays today for the SwimSafe event! We are so proud of everyone who took part and some children even faced their fear of open water and loved it! ūüĎŹūüŹľūüĎŹūüŹľ

So last week we heard of an amazing story about one of our AquaStars swimmers...
After attending one of our water safety courses one of our AquaStars swimmers went swimming with school to take part in a week of swimming lessons...on the last day they were playing a game and one of the other children in the class was struggling as they went too deep and kept going under water.
After worrying about their friend our amazing AquaStars swimmer helped their friend by scooping them... up and and sitting them on the side so they could get their breath back.
Our AquaStars swimmer said ‚Äú I knew I wasn‚Äôt in any danger after what Julie had taught us!‚ÄĚ

Due to last years success we are taking part in the Swim Safe event again this year at the Salford Quays!
Swim Safe is a FREE, fun outdoor swimming activity for children aged 7 to 14 who can swim a minimum of 25m confidently.
Young people love swimming outdoors ‚Äď but swimming in the sea, rivers and lakes is very different to swimming in a pool.... Led by trained instructors, our free Swim Safe activity educates children on how to have fun and stay safe in or near open water.
AquaStars have booked a group session which will take part at the Salford Quays on Friday 17th August at 12pm.
Alongside spaces being free, your child will also receive the following for taking part: *swim safe hat *swim safe t-shirt *achievement badge

Swimming lesson time! ūüŹä‚Äć‚ôāÔłŹ

Today was my son of 5s first time and be absolutely loved it armbands off and swam 5 meters with Julie something he has never done before teachers are amazing highly recommended to all

The first lesson today for my daughter and son at aquastars swim academy and they both absolutely loved it my little boy especially he didn't have any confidence at other places and was so nice to she him get in and progress so much in just half an hour can't wait to see what is to come thanks rae and Julie

My kids started here on Saturday , my daughter said she learnt more here in 1 Lesson than she did in a whole term at a previous venue... thank you very much kids loved it ! X

My daughter lacked a lot of confidence in the water and had been to other swimming classes but they didn't work for her. She's only had 3 lessons so far and I can definetly see a change in her. Would highly recommend!

I spent so much money and time at bolton school and my daughter did not progress much or do many badges,moved her to here along with my other daughter and they have both come on so much,excellent teachers

Great family run swim school. Experienced teachers who get to know their pupils and work to set the right level of challenge and support. Friendly and approachable and able to cope with everything that teaching small children to swim throws at them! Highly recommended!

Fabulous teachers who create a lovely, caring environment for children to learn to swim. They have helped by little girl to overcome a great deal of fear. She now loves swimming and looks forward to her lessons. Very glad I chose AquaStars.

Excellent family run swimming club. I can't recommend them highly enough. Rae and Julie have a passion for swimming and this come across in the way they teach the children. If you want your children to learn to swim and to be safe and confident around water there is no better place.

Cannot recommend this swim school highly enough! The teachers are fantastic and my son looks forward to his lesson every week.
