Went to the one near Oxford Road after a gig at the O2. The Burger and Fries were pretty ace! thank you. and I wasn't drunk :) it was really great burger!

Very surprised to see so many negative comments on here. I went with four children in the middle of a weekday during the school holidays and the place was understandably busy without being packed. We found a great table and our food and the service was excellent. We will be back within a short time because the children said how much better the place was than another outlet nearby that serves a very similar market.

Okay so I was in Archie's (Manchester) yesterday. We placed quite a large order! There was approximately a 10-15 minute wait, now the food is cooked fresh so therefore a wait of 10-15 mins is expected in ANY freshly cooked food joint. The milkshakes were nice, the food was amazing.... Can't fault the quality of the food! It was extremely busy which is obviously a good sign but could do with couple of more heads I think....

Im a bit drunk so short review. EPIC FLAVOUR. Good size burger, satisiying tasty patte and ok service considering busy. A bit pricey at £6.49 as everything in the city is and way more delicious than anything on mcdonalds menu. I will return..... probably drunk again.

Every experience here always makes me want to come back again! Great customer service and really delicious food and shakes every time. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a great place to eat! :)

Visited tonight with a group of 11,

All the orders were placed at the same time but when served up to 20 minites apart so as some people were finishing there tea some of the group were only just begining to get theirs,

The food however was a solid 8/10 hot fresh very tasty, but the lack of experience between the staff really shows, coming from people who live in a town to go eat in a city should be a hell of alot better really,

1 lady was stood at the front door waiting for iver half an hour for a waffle desert i know this because she was there when we entered and she was there as we was preparing to leave as we waited for milkshakes,



The ordering system aswell is abit poor, 13 people all seated reading menus expect to be greeted by a person to take the order not told we all have to go down to the front door individually. That alone pissed me off!



All in all the food was good but wont be going back due to the system been to lazy.

25p charge to use a card for a £20 bill ... I know it's not much but it's enough to stop me from going back.



Actually it is a lot, say they have 100 customers in a day that pay by card, a very very liberal estimate, that's £25. open 7 days a week - £175. I'm going to be generous and say they're only open 50 weeks out of the year - £8750!!

If your bank charges you that much a year for using a card machine (which is a cheaper way of banking than using cash) then you may want to change banks.



Oh and i could only just hear my partner over the overly loud music (it was lunchtime).

foods decent, but not worth the effort. don't bother putting anything in the notes as they don't read them anyway. The phone number on google is wrong so when your order turns up wrong you can't get in touch, so you'll have to walk round and then get blamed for it being wrong because they don't actually read them (Not much point in the notes section then) You probably won't get an apology for it either.

Your food is always amazing but your delivery system is a PILE of shit.

Why would you accept a delivery 415 and still not be able to bring it to my work place by 6.37????

there is no way of calling anyone and I can't even track the order

Was just about to order at around 7.10pm this evening until I saw a food prep member of staff in the back blow there nose, mess with there nose, then carried on preparing food without washing hands, so we walked out.

Bad hygiene would not eat from here!!

Used to love coming here, but in the past few months service there has been diabolical. Waited over half an hour every time for one milkshake whilst watching staff messing and joking about and making drinks at snails pace when there's tickets and customers piling up

There was a problem with my burger meal and I called a member of staff who then called the supervisor(he was wearing a grey shirt without a name badge).

He was so rude in the way he approached us and then was reluctant to even acknowledge what I was even saying. He did not even apologise or even try to rectify the problem, instead he just walked off. He had no sense of customer service or even basic manners.

Then when he walked past, I asked his name and he refused to tell me his name, and then rudely challenged us to complain. He then walked off and started talking about me to another worker who then laughed and started shaking her head.

Service was a joke, my friend and I got our food 10 minutes after ordering, then had to wait a further 20-30 minutes for a milkshake, food was going cold, I was watching the staff make my friends smoothie, they poured some into a cup for themselves and were drinking it, left the rest on the side for about 10 minutes then poured it into a cup for my friend, then drank the rest of it themselves, throwing banana skins on the floor, very unpleasant and unprofessional

Rude staff, incredibly slow service, always completely rammed, food v average. They also make uber eats/deliveroo wrap milkshakes handle straws with dirty hands -? Hygiene issue...

Ordered some food from there today, service is extremely poor even though there is so many staff in there, the food took forever. Ordered a cheetos burger they didn't have any cheetos and wouldn't swap the cheetos for a Hash brown, they have another chicken burger with hash brown so ordered this one instead and asked to swap the salsa for cheese but the staff wouldn't, paid extra for the cheese, not an issue, received my food over half and hour later and one item was missing on my order, had to go back, didn't receive any apologies or anything and had to wait for another 15 mins for a waffle that takes 3-5 mins to make and the place was not busy. Food is average, burgers are frozen. I wouldn't recommend the food or the service I received tonight. Quite disappointed �

Heard a lot of hype about Archie's so I thought we'd give it a shot. Our order was lost in the system to begin with..the manager picked up on that 20mins after we ordered (not great when you're hungry and having a super late lunch). To be fair your manager was polite and absolutely lovely - she tried to resolve their error as quickly as possible.. unfortunately the quality of the food was a humongous let down here.. I think the order may have been rushed because staff were aware that they lost our order and in the process out came 6 sliders dripping in excess oil. Sliders are never going to be healthy..yes. But they certainly shouldn't be dripping in excess oil - which leaves a horrible aftertaste. Maybe your staff need a little retraining here and there's some kind of disconnect between the point the order goes in and the kitchen itself?



Sorry guys - but for a food establishment based in Selfridge's - I was highly disappointed and am at a loss as to why there is such a hype attached to 'Archies'. That was expensive for poor quality food and I'm not sure about trying original Archie's in Manchester now..

It was my first visit to Archie's today, I had heard many good things so expected high quality products and service. I was obviously informed wrong! My order came out wrong! After politely speaking to 2 members off staff to see if I could get this sorted I was appologized to and told this is how it's come and they can't sort it now. I then went to the counter to ask to speak to a manager I was told he was on his break and it wasn't possible to speak to him at this time. After only receiving our milkshakes after eating our food, they where also wrong, after again speaking​ to a member a staff we realised that if something​ was wrong with your order it was basically tough as they wouldn't be sorting it! Would not recommend due to the staffs ability to sort out issues with the order, lack of manners and will definitely not be returning!!

Hated it ordered cheese and nachos hardly got any cheese at all also ordered a waffle with chocolate hardly got any chocolate � definitely won’t be going back � thanks for the shitty food

foods decent, but not worth the effort. don't bother putting anything in the notes as they don't read them anyway. The phone number on google is wrong so when your order turns up wrong you can't get in touch, so you'll have to walk round and then get blamed for it being wrong because they don't actually read them (Not much point in the notes section then) You probably won't get an apology for it either.

Why would you accept a delivery 415 and still not be able to bring it to my work place by 6.37????

Was just about to order at around 7.10pm this evening until I saw a food prep member of staff in the back blow there nose, mess with there nose, then carried on preparing food without washing hands, so we walked out.

Bad hygiene would not eat from here!!

Used to love coming here, but in the past few months service there has been diabolical. Waited over half an hour every time for one milkshake whilst watching staff messing and joking about and making drinks at snails pace when there's tickets and customers piling up

There was a problem with my burger meal and I called a member of staff who then called the supervisor(he was wearing a grey shirt without a name badge).

He was so rude in the way he approached us and then was reluctant to even acknowledge what I was even saying. He did not even apologise or even try to rectify the problem, instead he just walked off. He had no sense of customer service or even basic manners.

Then when he walked past, I asked his name and he refused to tell me his name, and then rudely challenged us to complain. He then walked off and started talking about me to another worker who then laughed and started shaking her head.

Service was a joke, my friend and I got our food 10 minutes after ordering, then had to wait a further 20-30 minutes for a milkshake, food was going cold, I was watching the staff make my friends smoothie, they poured some into a cup for themselves and were drinking it, left the rest on the side for about 10 minutes then poured it into a cup for my friend, then drank the rest of it themselves, throwing banana skins on the floor, very unpleasant and unprofessional

Ordered some food from there today, service is extremely poor even though there is so many staff in there, the food took forever. Ordered a cheetos burger they didn't have any cheetos and wouldn't swap the cheetos for a Hash brown, they have another chicken burger with hash brown so ordered this one instead and asked to swap the salsa for cheese but the staff wouldn't, paid extra for the cheese, not an issue, received my food over half and hour later and one item was missing on my order, had to go back, didn't receive any apologies or anything and had to wait for another 15 mins for a waffle that takes 3-5 mins to make and the place was not busy. Food is average, burgers are frozen. I wouldn't recommend the food or the service I received tonight. Quite disappointed �

Okay it's a little sad that I'm taking time out of my life to have to write this review.. experienced Archie's at B'ham Selfridge's for the first time today (and in general, ever). Heard a lot of hype about Archie's so I thought we'd give it a shot. Our order was lost in the system to begin with..the manager picked up on that 20mins after we ordered (not great when you're hungry and having a super late lunch). To be fair your manager was polite and absolutely lovely - she tried to resolve their error as quickly as possible.. unfortunately the quality of the food was a humongous let down here.. I think the order may have been rushed because staff were aware that they lost our order and in the process out came 6 sliders dripping in excess oil. Sliders are never going to be healthy..yes. But they certainly shouldn't be dripping in excess oil - which leaves a horrible aftertaste. Maybe your staff need a little retraining here and there's some kind of disconnect between the point the order goes in and the kitchen itself?



Sorry guys - but for a food establishment based in Selfridge's - I was highly disappointed and am at a loss as to why there is such a hype attached to 'Archies'. That was expensive for poor quality food and I'm not sure about trying original Archie's in Manchester now..

It was my first visit to Archie's today, I had heard many good things so expected high quality products and service. I was obviously informed wrong! My order came out wrong! After politely speaking to 2 members off staff to see if I could get this sorted I was appologized to and told this is how it's come and they can't sort it now. I then went to the counter to ask to speak to a manager I was told he was on his break and it wasn't possible to speak to him at this time. After only receiving our milkshakes after eating our food, they where also wrong, after again speaking​ to a member a staff we realised that if something​ was wrong with your order it was basically tough as they wouldn't be sorting it! Would not recommend due to the staffs ability to sort out issues with the order, lack of manners and will definitely not be returning!!

Hated it ordered cheese and nachos hardly got any cheese at all also ordered a waffle with chocolate hardly got any chocolate � definitely won’t be going back � thanks for the shitty food

Went to the one near Oxford Road after a gig at the O2. The Burger and Fries were pretty ace! thank you. and I wasn't drunk :) it was really great burger!

Very surprised to see so many negative comments on here. I went with four children in the middle of a weekday during the school holidays and the place was understandably busy without being packed. We found a great table and our food and the service was excellent. We will be back within a short time because the children said how much better the place was than another outlet nearby that serves a very similar market.

Okay so I was in Archie's (Manchester) yesterday. We placed quite a large order! There was approximately a 10-15 minute wait, now the food is cooked fresh so therefore a wait of 10-15 mins is expected in ANY freshly cooked food joint. The milkshakes were nice, the food was amazing.... Can't fault the quality of the food! It was extremely busy which is obviously a good sign but could do with couple of more heads I think....

Im a bit drunk so short review. EPIC FLAVOUR. Good size burger, satisiying tasty patte and ok service considering busy. A bit pricey at £6.49 as everything in the city is and way more delicious than anything on mcdonalds menu. I will return..... probably drunk again.

Every experience here always makes me want to come back again! Great customer service and really delicious food and shakes every time. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a great place to eat! :)

Visited tonight with a group of 11,

All the orders were placed at the same time but when served up to 20 minites apart so as some people were finishing there tea some of the group were only just begining to get theirs,

The food however was a solid 8/10 hot fresh very tasty, but the lack of experience between the staff really shows, coming from people who live in a town to go eat in a city should be a hell of alot better really,

1 lady was stood at the front door waiting for iver half an hour for a waffle desert i know this because she was there when we entered and she was there as we was preparing to leave as we waited for milkshakes,



The ordering system aswell is abit poor, 13 people all seated reading menus expect to be greeted by a person to take the order not told we all have to go down to the front door individually. That alone pissed me off!



All in all the food was good but wont be going back due to the system been to lazy.

Actually it is a lot, say they have 100 customers in a day that pay by card, a very very liberal estimate, that's £25. open 7 days a week - £175. I'm going to be generous and say they're only open 50 weeks out of the year - £8750!!
