Archway Veterinary Practice

Milo came to Archway 10 days ago as a stray with a broken femur. Our orthopaedic vet Jeremy operated immediately to repair the fracture using a intramedullary pin. Milo is now recovering well and enjoying his stay in our purpose built cat ward, taking full advantage of our new cat friendly hides. With our new premises now up and running we are soon to be a registed cat friendly practice.

Bailey comes in to see us for laser therapy and is coming on leaps and bounds!

Max arrived with a poorly ear today, nurses Katy and Steph applied an ear bandage at the practice 🤕 we hope you feel better soon max!

Glen visited the new surgery to see vet Becky, he had a good inspection of the consult chairs on the way out, rated them 10/10 üòç

We are excited to be in our new centre at long last, thank you for all your support! We are already making use of the conference room for nurse training. Today on using Sevoflo the most up to date safest anaesthetic that we now use routinely throughout all the theatres 🐾🐶🐱🐾

One day to go! ... We’ve got state of the art operating theatres equipped with the latest equipment. We understand that it’s a difficult time when your pet has an operation and want to reassure you they are in the safest hands 🐾🐶🐱🐰

2 days to go! When you need results fast … we are proud to be the only vets in South Cumbria with the complete range of the highest spec IDEXX lab testing equipment, giving blood and urine test results within minutes.

3 days to go … and we’re creating the perfect atmosphere! With full air conditioning and controlled ventilation throughout the centre, and even underfloor heating in the walk-in dog kennels. We are 'busy' testing it ...

Four days to go ... Great picture but we understand the reality and want to make your visit to Archway Vets as stress free as possible. Which is why we have separate separate dog and cat waiting areas, consultations rooms and hospital wards! There’s even a separate ward for rabbits and other exotic animals! Here’s a sneak preview ...

Well we have had a few inevitable dramas along the way but we are delighted to say the new practice is now in the final stages of development. Great news today getting the hydrotherapy treadmill up and running. Time to get those waders on Rebecca !
