Staff very friendly and knowledgeable about the ales. Monday is excellent value with most ales at less than 2 quid a pint. Cant beat that for value ����

Nice relaxed public house, and music free with a good selection of fine ales..like this place a lot..

Staff friendly and helpful. Food was good and drinks ok. Table was cleaned of plates by a lovely man. We sat there having a drink and talking when a lady who I think was a manager started to move the tables and chairs from round us. She then came and moved the 2 chairs from our table and had them put away. We drank up and left to find another place. No reason given for removal of furniture. Don't go in after 7pm if you want to eat.

Second time in 2 weeks I have eaten there. Won't be dining there again. Pudding was all kidney and dry as hell. Burger had no sauce with it and very dry. Only good thing is the chips.. didn't complain as we was hungry so we ate it but never again!
