I had my wife's surprise 40th birthday here last night. The staff were amazing and very helpful and friendly. They went out of their way to make the party as successful as possible. The venue easily catered for the 100 + guests invited and feed back from a number of guests was very positive, especially for me as the host. Would like to Thankyou Mark and his team for their help for my sons christening couldn't ask for a better venue! The catering was also lovely, all our guests had said how nice the food was defiantly would recommend to anyone can't wait for more parties here!

We recently had our son's christening party at Astral Park. Mark and the team were very helpful and prepared the room exactly as we'd hoped. Fantastic local venue with lots of open space outside for children to run around. The food was very tasty and they made an effort to accommodate some of our guests' special dietary requirements. We will definitely use this venue again in the future.

We hired the whole hall for our Son's 2nd birthday party. Everything was perfect and all our guests complemented us on the venue choice and food. All the kids had a great time and enjoyed all the food (the adults did too!) would recommend this to anyone looking to hold a party. Thank you!!

This is a great facility for the local community, I go there to run some computer courses and it works very well for us. The staff in particular are excellent and will do anything they can to help you.

Our two sons had their joint birthday party here.

The staff were very warm, helpful and friendly.

They offer a fantastic service, which can include catering and bar hire.

We will definitely be hiring this hall again for future parties. Ideal location, great size hall which is lovely inside and out and lovely surroundings with lots of parking space.

Lindsay and I are absolutely over the moon with our beautiful wedding which was held at Astral Park on 9th June. Mark Penton made us feel so very welcome on our first visit last October and we were instantly impressed and confident that we had chosen a superb venue.

We decided to opt for a traditional finger buffet and were extremely impressed with the wide selection; a choice of soft drinks and unlimited tea and coffee was just what we required in addition.

The beautiful grounds are excellent for photographs and the red carpet made us feel special, a thoughtful touch. The rooms were arranged and decorated to an extremely high standard.

We would like to give a huge thankyou to Mark, John and the two lovely ladies for making our day so special for us and our guests.

We would strongly recommend Astral Park for any couple planning their wedding as ours was perfect.

Just wanted to thank you all for being so helpful, organised and friendly to us with my daughter's Mad Hatters Tea Party. Without exception every member of the team that I have spoken to has been great. The hall was spotless, chairs set and tables ready when we arrived. I will be highly recommending the hall for my friends in future and I am sure we will use it again too.

I would highly recommend Astral Park Hall as a wedding venue. It is a lovely bright hall which was styled beautifully on the day by a local company Pink Peony Weddings .



The team at Astral Park provided excellent customer service from my initial enquiry until after the Wedding Day. I felt my questions were listened to in a courteous manner and any concerns I had were answered in a reassuring way.



The wedding event itself was managed very well and I was kept informed throughout the day of what was going to happen next which made me feel confident that the staff were working together as a team to provide an excellent service. The Wedding Breakfast Buffet was of a very high standard and excellent value.



The patio area with the back drop of the beautiful willow trees provided an ideal setting for the wedding photographs.

I use astral park every Thursday and Saturday to hold my disco babies classes.

The facilities are fantastic, staff very friendly and helpful and the venue itself is lovely, bright and airy.

We thoroughly enjoy coming to astral park and meeting all of the locals and little ones.

My partner and I like it so much we've booked our wedding there for July 2015!!

I hired the hall for my sons 5th birthday party. The food was excellent and the staff on the day were very helpful. I will be booking again for my other sons birthday in spring. Thank you!

I hired a space at Astral Park for more than a year to host my yoga classes and can't praise the space or the team high enough. Mark, who runs the space, is an absolute pleasure to work with and so flexible to your needs. The space is always impeccably clean, warm in winter, comfortable, and it's such a convenient venue as there is a huge free car park located at the venue. It's not the cheapest venue to hire in LB but you get what you pay for, and the service is well worth the extra expense. The team are also happy to help promote classes with leaflets and sharing things on their Facebook page, as well as having details of your classes on their website. The only reason I'm stopping my class is that I'm on maternity leave, but once I return to teaching Astral Park will be my first port of call for venues to teach at! Thanks guys!

I hire a room at Astral Park regularly for my kids cooking classes Buzzard's Little Bakers. The facilities are fantastic and allow me to cook with a large number of children with ease. The staff are friendly and relaxed and very helpful. I would recommend to anyone!

Had my sons 4th Birthday party here today, I can't rate it enough!! The hall is clean, great location and fantastic facilities! The staff are amazing and so helpful. I would recommend it to everyone as you will not be disappointed.

Had my son's 1st Birthday at Mentmore Pavilion, team at Astral park managed the booking and provided the catering. The communication prior to the party was excellent, Mark was very helpful. Booked this venue for my son's 3rd birthday party, and i was very impressed with the service and cleanliness provided. Room was all set up for us, all we had to do was decorate. At the end of the party we just collected all the rubbish and they did the rest. Would defiantly recommend and would use again. Thank you Astral park.

My daughter had a fabulous 2nd Birthday Party on 15/02/15. Thank you. It was good to have someone on site to go to with any problems or to refill tea and coffee supplies. It is a very good price to hire and an extra bonus that setting up of tables and chairs and tidying up is included!

Could only review as Very Good and not Excellent as we had a good look around and no where could we see any drop kerbs for wheelchair access to the site from the car park. As the kerbs are aready in place would have thought this should have been at that stage. Otherwise thought it was great and enjoyed looking around and talking to the Managers etc.
