Atlas Physique Description

When it comes to changing our bodies, whether this be losing fat, building muscle or generally wanting to feel better, it seems this brings along with it a certain amount of restriction in the form of taking away the things we like and in lots of cases hindering our social lives and in most cases this is unsustainable. At Atlas Physique we understand the human body but we also understand PEOPLE and that people have lives which they do not want to bring severe restriction into.

Naturally when changing your body there will be certain things in your life that will need to change slightly but the best plan is one that is sustainable for the long term, not just a quick fix.

How many of you know someone who is always on a diet and is always chasing the new fad in the hope of achieving their goal?……. Their problem is that they haven't found something which fits into their life and is sustainable.

We work closely with every individual to find that sweet spot where their life isn't impacted massively by the changes made, they are seeing the results, its sustainable and most importantly they are HAPPY!

Lauren is 5 months post pregnancy and it’s safe to say she is making fantastic progress. One of the easiest decisions I’ve ever made. I came to Atlas Physique 5-months ago out of shape, with very little awareness of nutrition and zero motivation when it came to fitness. I now walk away more confident, having a significant awareness and appreciation of nutrition and fitness, and in the best shape of my life having recently completed a half-marathon.



I had the pleasure of training with Steve whose passion, knowledge, and continuous support helped me achieve my goals. Every session I had with Steve I walked away not only feeling and looking better but having learned something new about nutrition and fitness. Seriously, if you want to know the science behind all these incredible transformations and how to make it sustainable, this is the place to come.



Half way through my time at AP I expressed an interest in running and explained to Steve I wanted to do the MCR Half Marathon as a personal challenge. Having never being a good runner I immediately assumed he would increase the amount of cardio in my program but instead we reduced it and focused heavily on strength training. As the weeks went by my legs and core became stronger, my pace faster, and I was setting PB’s on every run. I completed my first half marathon in 1:53mins, my target was 2hours. Any runner looking to increase their pace and endurance, strength training is the answer.

I started working with Vicky at Atlas 6 weeks ago, having had my second child in June. I felt I needed more than just a gym, I needed the support and encourage from a trainer to snap me out of the bad habits I had picked up over the last 2 and a bit years, and lose the 3 stone I had gained. However, having had a baby so recently I knew my body needed to be slowly eased in to things. This is where Vicky has really come in to her own with me, she understands my capabilities and is working to gradually improve my strength. I have lost a little over 2 stone in 6 weeks, I'm eating healthy and most importantly to me - I am starting to look and feel like me again.

I love coming here - everyone is friendly and you feel very welcomed. Danny is my coach and he is brilliant. He had no issue with my vegan diet and tailored the plan to my requirements. He is very knowledgable and has helped me supplement my diet to get better results.

I've seen changes in my body really quickly especially with the encouragement I get from Danny.

I like how the plan is made and how you can mark changes and progress - with previous PT's there was never this structure so I lacked interest and focus when I didn't see or feel results.

When coming to an end of our 6 months or so together I wanted to show my appreciation for what you have helped me to achieve and reflect on exactly how you impacted me. It seems strange to me looking back, how I had managed to let myself get to a certain point in my life where I needed quite a bit of help physically and mentality given the type of independent person I am. I look back at how I have changed, what I have introduced to actually change my thought process and look on life and you are a key attribute here.



One thing that is for certain is that I chose the right man. You have not only given me the belief again that I can achieve what I want but also reignited the drive to be healthy, be active and somewhere along the way given me my confidence back. Losing the weight was always my main outlook but the process as a whole has really given my confidence through all aspects of life a real boost. Given everything that I had been through and where I was mentality this was just as important to me as losing the weight so thank you.



I kept thinking when I started out that you were calling everything a journey...i have never been on a journey before and wondered what are you talking about, im here to just lose weight and get out! Its only when I got underway I realised the impact and changes that are required to succeed and soon the days turn to weeks and the weeks turn to months and before you know it I had smashed my goals, changed my way of thinking and understanding of concepts such as “time”, “commitment”, “desire”, “determination” and look back and think...that was some journey. It sounds silly to say but I know now what you mean a journey is having been through one.



It is not every day that an outlook gets changed in life for the better so thank you. Looking back over the months I think about what I have been through and smile to myself. I couldn’t have imagined wanting to do any of it before meeting you and I definitely wouldn’t have found myself wanting to do the reps, the sets, the graft in the slightest. I did random things I would never have done before...going to the toilet and doing 20 push ups because I felt like my body needed it, because maybe if I did 20 push ups every toilet break that would be 100 extra push ups a day – remember im drinking 3-4 litres of water a day so need a fair few toilet breaks lol!! What a strange man I am I thought to myself, of course I have never mentioned this to anyone but you have given me a sense of pushing my body to new places and thresholds that I was convinced weren’t possible.



And in short that is what it is all about to me, the top 2 inches. How im on my arse flagging, desperate for oxygen, shaking, struggling to think and you say lets go again....set 2 of 4!! Pushing my body to new heights and knowing what my body was capable of more than I knew what it was capable of actually achieving...the sign of a man who knows what they are talking about.



It is important that you know how you impact people lives or at the very least how you have impacted mine, how your commitment is second to none, how you have a great way to be professional, passionate and caring all at the same time and ultimately getting people to their goals.



I know you will be a success with your new venture because of who you are let alone the knowledge you have and I know you will change the way people perceive PT’s and the fitness industry one person at a time like you have with me.

After quite a few years out of the gym I thought I'd never get back in but Nick has not only got me eating right he also makes sure I get my monies worth every session. And for anyone that thinks personal training is expensive I save what I spend on sessions by not eating a load of expensive junk food every week. The diet is tasty and I never feel hungry and feel better and sleep better. Cheers guys
