Autohub Description
The Northwest Automotive Alliance's Autohub project is supporting vehicle manufacturers and suppliers to the automotive industry to “grow their own” engineers through the recruitment of apprentices with support of the newly-created Higher Apprenticeships in Advanced Engineering and Manufacturing.
The new Higher Apprenticeships:
Will provide the advanced manufacturing and engineering sectors with high grade engineers and technicians with practical skills combined with a higher education qualification.
Are ideal for Apprentices working in higher-level technical occupations in industries including automotive, aerospace and nuclear
‘Plug the gap’ facilitating progression to level 5 /6 qualifications and above
Will enable Apprentices to work towards Incorporated Engineer status
