Gripper Step is the original and best plastic moulded vehicle access step.

Originally designed and manufactured by KRS of Norwood, South Australia, the Gripper Step is now also manufactured under licence by Axiom Engineering of Altham, Lancashire, for distribution to domestic and European markets. Our biggest customers include British Telecom and West Midlands Police.

The Gripper Step has often been copied, but never better equalled or bettered. It is available in many versions such as double- or triple-tread; tow and non-tow versions; and with powder-coated or galvanised steel subframe. It can also be fitted with reversing sensors.

Axiom Engineering produce Gripper Steps to fit many different commercial vehicles from Transits to Sprinters, Transporters to Movanos. We even do a universal version for fitment to Brink and Tow-Trust towbars. We can also manufacture one-off specials to your exact specifications.
