Axis Arts Centre Page Description
Axis Arts Centre is based on the MMU Cheshire campus in Crewe, 10 minutes walk from the train station.
Crewe is 45 minutes south of Manchester, 50 minutes north of Birmingham and 15 minutes from Stoke-on-Trent and Crewe (and its famous train station). It's 10 mins away from Junction 16 of the M6.

Are you free on Friday 13th May? If so, MMU Cheshire Campus, (Crewe) are doing The ‘Lucky for Some’ Music Festival.
***Free Entry*** 6:00pm till late.
Four stages: the Student Zone, Axis Music stage, Axis OpenSpace and Axis Theatre.
... Performances from bands, solo performers, acoustic music, choirs and smaller ensembles and a DJ set in the Student Zone from 11:00pm until late.
Refreshments sold at the bar at the main stage and in the Contemporary Arts building. Hot food will also be offered on site.

We're busy behind the scenes prepping for Horizon 16, Inquiring Bodies 4 with Cheshire Dance, Lost Carnival, Artscool and The Novella Award. The Axis Spring Season still has a lot to offer!
Fancy yourself as a writer? Prizes for the 2016 The Novella Award are £1000 and publication with Sandstone Press.
Deadline for Novella submissions 5pm on 29th April.
