Well I don't know where the last year has gone but it's fast approaching 'wake the lakes' weekend again. We're looking forward to seeing everyone again for the annual Harley Davidson weekend.

What a fantastic place to stay beautifully decorated every little detail thought about. Mandy & Brian thank you for making our stay so lovely. Your breakfast was yummy too...

What a beautiful b and b! The reviews on Trip Advisor are so right - the owners are wonderful hosts and go out of their way to help. They even gave us a lift to the birthday party we were attending. We stayed in a superior kingsize room which had everything you could possibly wish for - even make-up remover pads in the en-suite! The bed was so comfortable that I had the best night's sleep I've had in ages. Mandy cooked me a gluten free English breakfast - and even went out to get special sausages for me plus gluten free cereal. We will definitely stay here again when visiting Kendal and have recommended Balcony Lodge to all our friends.

Warm welcome fantastic bed fluffy pillows with quality bedding , room had all the necessary amenities and proper coffee with caffetiere , breakfast outstanding if you stay longer than a night may ask for the half breakfast ! Kovely people

The proprietors were very accommodating,the balcony room has a four poster bed, very stylish, great attention to detail. Great selection for breakfast, good price for the standard of room.

Really enjoyed our stay once again. Hope you haven't been affected by Storm Desmond too much, it took us an hour to get out of Kendal!

Mandy & Brian, thank you so much for the warm welcome on Thursday 3rd, I've enjoyed every minute of my stay in your beautiful home. The breakfast was beautiful, the rooms were tastefully decorated and spacious. You definitely get 10/10 from me, see you next July xx

Had a fabulous time at the balcony hotel. Mandy greeted us warmly, by name, which was a lovely touch. The hotel was beautifully decorated for Christmas, complete with lots of fairy lights, 3 trees, a reindeer and a husky. Our room on the top floor was warm cosy and wonderfully decorated. The full English breakfast was hearty and not at all greasy. It was very reasonably priced and we highly recommend it.

Fantastic pre- booking service, wonderful welcome, beautiful rooms, awesome breakfast and people who go the extra mile STRONGLY RECOMMEND!

Absolutely first class - loved it

Booked at Christmas for a Birthday biking weekend with the better half and welcomed by Mandy and Brian who are such lovely people.

Couldn't have wanted for anything the whole weekend. Chocolates on arrival, breakfast to die for, such a welcoming atmosphere too.

We will be visiting again on the motorbikes when the weather is better. Thank you very very much.
