Went to see smoove and turrell there yesterday and the buffalo brothers both bands were awesome BUT all the staff from the box office bar staff security was extremely friendly welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience there DEFINITELY 5 Stars

We go to Band on The Wall so often now we call it our "Home From Home" Been to see so many bands there. Last night it was Carroll Thompson. Brilliant night as always. Young and old, every ethnicity. The mix in the crowd and positive and good time vibes this iconic venue gives off always makes me proud to be a Mancunian. Staff are wonderful and for a music lover and avid concert goer BOTW is by far my favourite venue in Manchester. Prices are reasonable enough so that if you don't know a certain genre of music it doesn't cost too much to go down and give it a try. You're always guaranteed a great night with everyone up for a good time. Never change BOTW. You're pretty much perfect. Look forward to the next visit for the Otis Redding Tribute.

Trevor Nelson was brilliant and certainly made my sore feet from dancing all night well worth the pain .. only criticism was the queue to get in .. tickets should take priority from people paying on the night .. two separate queues would have been better x

Top venue, nice selection of gins, separate accessible bar area and the venue offers intimate setting with artist and balcony view. Great night helped by brilliant music from Robert Vincent and Paul Kelly!

This is a great venue have been several times but not enough,well set up extremely friendly and helpful staff every one of them, the atmosphere is fantastic and never seen a bad act ,love the place

Small, intimate venue, tables & chairs for the early birds at the front, standing room behind...If you're lucky enough to get a seat, it's like watching a band in your sitting room!

Great atmosphere, great sound, separate bar, seriously great little venue :)

Sincere thanks to the kind folk at Band On The Wall for the complimentary tickets to the Lee 'Scratch' Perry gig on Tues. 7th March 2017; always a great atmosphere in the place, and this night was certainly no exception!

Saw Craig Charles Soul 'n' Funk. Great shown. Friendly crowd with no agro. Seating area was comfortable and away from the music so not too loud. Some decent beers at reasonable prices. All round great venue.

Nice to have a sophisticated drinks menu in a music venue. The range of Gins fantastic and the tonic menu extensive Not to mention the aromatic and bespoke garnishes. Didn't eat this time but the pizzas looked and smelt amazing - A definite for the next gig.

My favourite venue in Manchester. There is always an exciting array of artists and such a great vibe.

I was there with a mate to watch the majestic Frank McComb(trio)and we really enjoyed the venue.Seating was close to the stage,if you get there early,which basically meant it was like watching the great man perform in your living room. There's also standing balconies and the adjacent bar is reasonably priced with pleasant staff.Great atmosphere,surrounded by friendly people which made it a fantastic night out.Highly recommended(I'm from Stoke!!)....and please get Frank McComb back ASAP!!!!

First timer. Free entry. And 4 very different bands. The sound was great and as the venue is intimate the atmosphere is equally good. Of the 4 bands Scarlet Castles was to my mind, and by far, the best.

Dreadzone gig last night was just fantastic.

The thing about Band on the Wall is it's just the right size! You really feel connected to the bands whilst still part of a crowd.

Another excellent night , Snowboy and Craig Charles into the early hours! Such a great venue, staff and customers alike friendly and helpful. Best place in Manchester for live music.

Not happy that the venue posted show times on the events page to find that they were different on arrival. Having booked and pre paid for a taxi back to Wigan which couldn't be changed we ended up missing over 30 minutes of the show. The venue itself is great but it can't be that difficult to get show times correct when you're putting gigs on constantly.
