Must say well pleased with my cut took me a while to find a decent barbers I like and think I may just of cracked it

Took my son, who HATES having his hair cut, to the birkenhead shop today. I could tell my son was impressed, he hardly fidgeted, and was actually smiling, (believe me, that's huge during a haircut). They really take their time and you can tell they take pride in their work so I was expecting to pay a bit more but i paid the same as I usually do.

My son has asked if that can be his barbers from now on!

Can't recommend them enough!

Took my son to the Queens Drive shop. HeŌĆÖs not had a haircut in a long time as he has sensory issues. The management made the staff aware of this and we sat in a quieter area the barber came up to my son before his cut, introduced himself and made my son at ease with friendly banter. The barber was very reassuring to my son during the cut and explained to him he needs to keep coming back for regular cuts. The least stressful experience in a barbers for us both!

Took my autistic little boy into barbersno1 Wirral yesterday late afternoon I like to thank all the staff making us feel welcome and putting so much effort into helping my son calm down as he was not happy and the young man who cut his hair had so much patience couldn't thank you all enough

Me and my son (2 1/2yrs) go the warrington barbers, great atmosphere staff are amazing with my lad distracting him keeping him entertained whilst having a cut. Definitely recommend this place!

Love my trips to Barbers No1 and barely trust anywhere else with my beard. Prices are great and quality of haircuts is top drawer. Also who doesnt love a free beer??!!

It's scary going to a new barbers! You've been having your hair cut by the same guy or girl for the past however many years... And it becomes routine. I got recommended this place, and I needed a new barbers that was local to me and in the city centre. Honestly wasn't disappointed. The lads and girls in there seem like really genuine people. Good hair cuts. Got mine done by Michael, I will be going back again! Think I've found my new barbers ’┐Į’┐Į’┐Į

Hands down the best barbers in liverpool, maybe even the Country. A versatile mix of young and experienced barbers delivering a first class experience and changing lives daily!

Had a fantastic cut from Garf in the City Center, much quicker than my usual barber and much better quality. I was also given two complimentary Budweisers whilst I waited and during the cut, which I paid less for than I normally do for a haircut without beer! Would strongly recommend to anyone, really laid back, friendly atmosphere.

Good atmosphere, spend a lot of time on your hair which is rare these days. Alex did his best to fix my shocking haircut and gave advice for growing it out. Still looked great even with the shocking previous one at a different barber and it will only look better in future when it's fixed. Highly recommend - quality cuts and price!

First time of going to the pilch lane barbers or any barbers No1. I can honestly say best cut I've had by far. Gutted I didn't catch the lads name who done it as he would definitely be doing my cuts from now on. Definitely recommend

This is by far the best IŌĆÖve been too. The greeting was 10/10 approached by Ged one of the staff with a bottle of beer there was a lot of customers but plenty of staff to meet this and to prevent over waiting!

I chose Ged to sort my head out and he nailed it!

Nice one 1 million percent going back and would 1 million percent recommend to any one!

Always get my hair cut off Jordan in the Warrington shop, travel quite far just for a cut from him as it's always a great job and he is always laughing and smiling! 10/10 recommend him and this shop!’┐Įfantastic place guys!

My partner waited over a hour to get seen as one person was cutting hair while the rest of them where standing around doing nothing. My partners hair cut was ok i guess looked a little better. Will definitely continue to go to voodo in liverpool instead as they do a better job. #KirkbyShop#

I'd heard so much about Barbers No1. My usual barber is appointment only and was fully booked. So I thought, why not.... I have travelled around and visited lots of different stores that promote themselves highly. I've experienced the good, the bad, and the downright ugly.



I went in on a Monday morning and found nobody in front of me. The shop itself was pleasantly decorated and had a good vibe. I was kindly greeted by the barber.



I thought I would risk allowing the barber to do what he wanted. Sadly the discussion went as far as "a number 1 on the sides and bit off the top then!" Sure enough it's what I got. As haircuts go it's not the worst I've had... but it's not the best. Their was no mirror checking of the back and I did have to ask for a bit more to be taken off on the top. The line, for the part, which I asked for was as faint as the enthusiasm the barber showed for a new client. The conversation about how he wants to get out of the business in 2 years was hardly likely to inspire anyone to have trust.



On examining the hair once I got home I found it varied in length on the top and further I had to trim parts off at the front. I also found that my barber found it easier to shave any areas that stuck out as an easier option than fading it into the cut.



Despite the vast amount of tweets, their was no matte, styling products or even a cut throat razor in sight of being used to tidy up the loose bits and finish the method off. Their was no offer of any of it. I didn't get the standard talc on the back of the neck you might find at 'old man Joes' at the end of your street. Those little things and finishing touches were hugely missing.



I then went into the beard... having lost confidence I opted for; "just tidy it up!" Sure enough the barber used scissors as requested instead of clippers... which was good, however instead of tidying it up I have an uneven length on one side that is longer than the other. It wasn't combed out at the beginning to check but merely cut from how it had entered the store.



I won't go back to this particular store I'm afraid... yes, at ┬Ż14.50 it's certainly a decent value for a haircut and beard trim, compared to many other competing venues. Sadly it's no better than your average corner shop barber that charges a fiver.

Used to be class, so much so that I always got my haircut here then since 2016 it went downhill. CouldnŌĆÖt even get the basics right, twice, had long bits of hair over my ears with what was supposed to be a grade 1! Staff always talk and seem to get distracted every time I go in, no more. Avoid!

Rude, arrogant, unprofessional and the worst haircut I have ever had!



Crap barber didn't listen to me, didn't understand that I wanted a 'fade' (not too hard), rushed the job and spent other half watching football on his tablet!



There is a culture in here of roadman/yobbish behaviour from a group of guys who couldn't care less about those who walk in the door and pay their money to look good



If you want to get the 'BarbersNo1' look...i'd suggest hedge cutters...
