Barrow Hall Stables

We are looking for a dedicated young person with a passion for horses, to join our team. The position will include on site training towards a level 2 or 3 National Diploma in Horse Care and Riding, with the opportunity to train as a level 3 Coach. The position will include general yard duties, caring for, feeding, watering, and grooming the horses and ponies, tacking up and assisting the general public. You will also have regular riding lessons throughout the week, with ampl...e opportunity to join additional sessions in the evenings and outside of your working hours. You must be able to work well as a team member, but also individually, with initiative and an eye for safety. Applicants must be aged 16-19, with a basic knowledge and experience in horse care. This is a paid position staring on an apprentice wage. 40 hours per week (including minimum of 8 hours training)

We are looking for a dedicated individual, with experience of working on a yard, and coaching/teaching qualifications. This role will be versatile, teaching a variety of riders of all ages and abilities, group and private. Yard roles to include muck/skip out, groom, tack up, turnout, feed and water, to name a few. and assist with the day to day running and organisation of the yard. Experience and qualifications within the equine industry required. This a full time position, with up to 40 hours per week, to include 1 weekend day, between the hours of 08:00-20:00.

We are very pleased to announce the completion of our beginner/novice and RDA (Riding for the Disabled Association) riding arena. Elsie and Isabella had a fab time testing the RDA mix wax surface this evening on William and Tinker!
