Bashall Barn

About Bashall Barn

We’ve been making food from scratch at Bashall for over 18 years, using fresh local ingredients and were rightly proud of the food we produce from cakes in the coffee shop to home made meals in the restaurant.

Open 7 days a week.

Another big beautiful cloudless sky over The Valley today... get out into it and enjoy!!!

User

We now have one date in August 2019 available due to a cancellation. We aren't lying when we saying this will go quickly so if you're interested, please get in touch asap to avoid disappointment.

User

After our Wedding open month this August, our restaurant is back open during the week for you all. Please don't forget that whether we have a wedding on or not, our Love shack and coffee shop are always open for you to enjoy a simple cup of coffee or the ever popular rag pudding! ☕🍰

Happy cows at Bashall. Just in case you didn't know, we are proud to call one of the best dairy farms in the country our home. Have you been to say hello yet?

Another busy day at Bashall!

User

Big farm toys out again on the land... not the best year for our grass crop but let's hope we can get enough in for all those hungry cows!

User

We don't know of many places where you can get a picture with the cows on your wedding day!

User

The Valley looking great in the sun today!!

User

If only it was a little sunnier today!

User

Can’t believe the day has finally come when we can announce this! April 2019 is going to be a very exciting month...

User

We're thinking of everyone picking up their GCSEs today. A huge good luck and don't forget we're open till 5 for a celebratory scoop (or two) of ice cream!

User

Any guesses? 👀

Went to friends wedding night party .. lovely venue ! Clean classy and very trendy.. great staff from bar to kitchen .. friendly obliging and professional .. food awesome I had to go back for seconds !! Highly recommended

We had a late lunch yesterday homemade soup to start with chunky homemade and butter delicious. Then the pork steak with blue cheese on top. The salmon with prawns fresh veg and the Bashall Burger with a mazing onion rings. It was really good. I would recommend the place.

We called in for a late lunch, there was a good choice including roast beef sandwich which we had with sweet chutney and twice cooked chips. Dog was allowed in, there's a farm shop with a good choice of products. Toilets were exceptionally clean. Cakes and ice cream looked good, but we didn't indulge. Large car park. We used the post code in our sat nav and it was slightly out so keep an eye open.

This may be a little biased due to us having Bashall Barn as our wedding venue! We've been a few times now, we had the Afternoon Tea last week and it was absolutely fantastic! The food was excellent and presentation was flawless as well. The staff were welcoming and helpful!

User

It's just a lovely space filled with a beautiful bar and quality tables & chairs. Lovely decor. Service is spot on and the food is delicious. So many unusual things to buy as well - deli gifts or take home to eat. If you need a cheer up or have visiting friends this is an ideal lunch/ brunch/ coffee spot out.

User

It was lovely sitting by the fire on a cold winter day drinking delicious coffee and eating equally delicious scones.

User

I really enjoyed my meal at Bashall Barn restaurant yesterday. I had fish, chips and peas followed by a chocolate brownie and ice cream. Great service and a lovely place!

User

Have been going there for many years have never had a bad meal food is always excellent and Staff are out standing

User

First visit here today. I'm a carer and brought my patient. He loved it. We both had a full English breakfast and it was beautiful! All the staff were extremely friendly and took the time to listen to my patient. Lovely place will be back again

User

Felt the food was a little pricey when ordering, however when it arrived it was the most generous portion and was absolutely amazing. All our party were thrilled and my little boy wolfed down his fish fingers xxx

User

Fabulous wedding venue with very accommodating staff...even when faced with 2 slightly drunk and very cheeky women (are you sure we can’t try any more gins...??!) Will recommend to future brides to be!

User

Can't fault the place one bit . Fabulous place. Amazing views. But much more than that , you did my sister proud on her big day . I'll be back one day for sure . Well done Bashall Barn . Very well done !!

User

Always a lovely visit! So beautiful as you drive up. The improvements are excellent. I brought my little 2 year old friend who asked why the cows did not eat ice cream! If you are struggling to choose between ice cream and cake........have ginger cake ice cream

We came for brunch yesterday- and as usual we had a delicious meal! (We visit about once or twice a month) the staff are always friendly, and the surroundings are beautiful.

Only disappointment I had this week, was I was unable to buy from the shop. I waited for someone to serve me, but after waiting for ages I gave up and went back to the car. A little disappointed as I wanted to buy some food and chocolates.

I won't let it out me off, as we love dining here.

We just called to pick some plants up, and called in for a coffee and cake, I asked for 2 milky coffees, "do you mean latte's"? No just flat milky coffee, "oh I can do that" actually you couldn't, sorry not to our liking, also bought a piece of what said, pecan & date, it didn't say cinnamon n currant!!!!!! Not what we wanted, but the ambience. and the service was very friendly!

User

Visited out of pure luck dropped on this little place whilst out having a drive. Place is quirky and clean lovely set up and setting. Food was average service was quick but seemed a little bit hectic and staff not sure what they were doing. But on while it's was good.

User

Must be the only place in UK that doesn’t have alternative to milk. No plant based milks at all I was told by staff. No longer on list for possible venue for my son’s wedding.

User

Love Bashall Barn it has a relaxed friendly atmosphere, had afternoon tea which was served very nicely....however for me it could have had less hot food and a better selection of sandwiches instead. The scone was tiny with no clotted cream!! ...but that said all very fresh and tasty. Bought a game pie for the husbands tea which went down extremely well. Will go back again but choose lunch instead next time

Had my wedding here in March, don’t get me wrong I had an amazing day but there was a few disappointing bits about it. Firstly, I couldn’t have my dad to give me away so my fabulous mum did that job but we couldn’t walk down the aisle together as it wasn’t made wide enough, my mum was walking on my dress and she had to opt in walking behind me, Secondly, my husband and I was told on the evening that we couldn’t make a big fuss of the cake cutting because of where it was placed, our guests wouldn’t have had room so we had to do a quiet picture with the photographer and thirdly, we chose the sausage and bacon butties and chips for our guests, I have to say I was so embarrassed of what our guests thought, I could have done better myself!!!!
