Bay Malton Angling Club Description

Top action from top club
And now fishing at Home Farm Fisheries Alsager
From delightful small farm ponds packed with silverfish,
to large multi-acre waters with specimen carp,
catfish, pike and bream, as well as some stunning
stretches of river, Bay Malton Angling Club is one of the
North West’s top clubs to join.
The Cheshire group, which has been established since
1978, also runs the commercial complex Border Fisheries
which holds seven fish-filled lakes, ideal for specimen
and match anglers.
It’s not just carp-filled pools at this mature fishery, with
most lakes holding tench, roach and bream.
If running water is more for you, the club runs several
miles of the River Dane. This rural, narrow river is great
for going roving where bends, overhanging trees and
little pools hold such fish as chub, barbel and grayling.
Facilities: Shop, café, office, toilets
For the big-fish anglers, there are also plenty of pits and
reservoirs, where you may not even see another angler.
Waters for this year include Dunham Fisheries,
Home Farm Fisheries Alsager and the Sepentine at
Knypersley. For the first time this season night fishing has
been allowed at the Serpentine, where 30lb carp,
30lb pike and large bream exist.
