Painting and decorating in a healthcare environment. (Source, Painting & Decorating News).
Many of wall coatings (paints) now not only provide easy-to-clean surfaces, but also are inherently hygienic. These often include silver ion technology, which inhibits the spread of MRSA and E-Coli across the paint surface. These finishes also offer a surface which does not support the growth of mould, further helping hospitals and other health-care centres to create hygienic environments throughout a building.
A selection on my work during 2019. Including a Saxon Church, Grade II interior, various residential properties, a holiday let, serviced flats and student accomodation.

Painting, instead of replacing, tiles. Clean with Meths, prime with Zinsser and topcoat with Eggshell.
Today applied OSMO UV Resistant oil to an Oak front porch and conservatory. Then used OSMO restoration gel (Oxcylic Acid) on a pair of old Teak benches. Photo shows a bench treated next to untreated one.

Toilet bowl waste pipe no longer leaks and has a flexible seal because original fitting was too large/wrong.
Revisited a hedge I layed 8 years ago. It just needs trimming before the sap starts to rise.
A very pleasant job as the sun burnt off the mist today. Burning the winter prunings of various shrubs, Rose's , Apple and Pear. Then weeding around some Hellebores, Snowdrops and Aconites. This garden is now back under control.
A few small jobs yesterday including fixing the basic clutch mechanism inside a long roller blind. Also revisited an end of bed chest that I stripped painted and waxed.
