This is my fourth year here on the site and I can honestly say this year is the best yet. The new manager Peter has definitely taken the bull by the horns! The improvements made to the park this year are clear to see. All the reception girls are friendly and helpful, maintenance guys are there to sort out any problems and do a great job! Denise and her team are very efficient, friendly and welcoming, and finally Jamie the new entertainment guy is the best we've had!! He certainly knows his stuff and really keeps everyone entertained.

Keep up the great work everyone!

Stayed at Beacon Fell for two seasons before sadly having to move on this year. Many thanks to Peter the manager and his staff for making this a bumper and much improved year.

So this was my first time in a camper van and I loved it that much we returned a couple of weeks later. Clean shower block and great entertainment. This weekend I am staying in a caravan with the kids and I canвҖҷt wait because they are going to love it пҝҪ the guy who does the entertainment is fabulous and I canвҖҷt wait to dance with the kids

Loved our stay when we came, staff were fantastic, kids entertainment were great, we took our tourer so used the shower facilities and they were nice and clean. Will be back again xx

Just spent the best weekend here!! Was worried as IвҖҷd seen mixed reviews. But I neednвҖҷt of worried. We camped on the tent field which is secluded enough to let me the children have a little freedom to roam and a short trek to the toilets. Facilities were always clean staff were amazing. Will definitely be returning. Little nod to the pool staff who were lovely пҝҪ thanks guys

Just returned from our second visit to beacon fell view. It is such a lovely clean site. The entertainment has kept the children and adults entertained. All the staff where very helpful and friendly. Lovely clean swimming pool. We stayed on the tent field in total there was 3 adults and 6 children aged between 1-12. We had 2 pitchвҖҷs next to each other had loads of space. Will definitely be returning.

Just returned from a 3 night camping stay here with my partner and 5 children ranging in age from 15 to 3 years we originally booked to go to solway bit was transferred to beacon fell due to unsuitable touring pitches at solway. When we arrived we had the bonus of electric hook up which we didn't expect when we first seen our pitch I was concerned out massive 12 man tent wouldn't fit but the reception staff were great and moved us to a massive pitch with plenty of room for tent and even space to put up out badminton set пҝҪ site was lovely clean tidy and well kept. shower toilet block was always clean warm and plenty of space. Kids entertainment was fab even us adults enjoyed it. Felix and dino even got our teenagers laughing пҝҪ Pool was good and clean although some pool toys would be an idea пҝҪ all staff from site worker, bar staff, reception and entertainers were pleasant helpful and welcoming. So for an unplanned location we have defitanly found a site we will certainly be returning too and will be staying longer next time was sad to leave today пҝҪ well done beacon fell view

Just come back from touring only downside we didnвҖҷt stay long enough both my children was kept occupied and my dogs loved it to cars was going very slow to keep kids etc safe park clean we went to entertainment itвҖҷs was pretty good actually everyone is really friendly the guy who drives that green quad but I donвҖҷt think it is a quad Is very friendly nothing to much trouble swimming pool is fab very strict which isnвҖҷt a bad thing Park my son loved it soft play area my son loved it didnвҖҷt appeal to my other son as heвҖҷs to small if they had a ball pit he would of liked it shop is nice essentials really and not badly priced compared to other places I would recommend to anyone good value for money thanks guys we will be coming back very very soon

Just back from a 4 night stay at beacon fell view, great location for Blackpool and Blackpool zoo, although it was quiet during the evening, our 8 year old was content enough with the entertainment, soft play, pool and arcade. Not sure the guy's name that was doing the kids club but he was fab! Even printed my son Harry potter colouring in sheets, which really made his day, so thank you for a great break :-)

Fantastic break here, beautiful scenery, great pool and everywhere so clean. Found the staff really friendly, yes thereвҖҷs sometimes a little wait, in the day, at the bar but it was a quiet time and staff are busy. When people were getting irate I just told them, whatвҖҷs 2 minutes chill out!! We loved it and will be back anyway, gorgeous, chilled break x

arrived yesterday for 1 night camping first time me my hubby and 3 kids have ever slept in tent we arrived pitched up tent got kids swim stuff and headed to pool they loved it after that we went into town because there was nothing to eat on site apart from bar snacks. we got to entertainment early got a table and well what a amazing night was ment be ed Sheeran tribute artist but he cancelled the night before due to ill health was replaced by Motown what can i say was more than impressed the only down side was the food we started getting a little hungry so ordered a cheese pizza but was expensive. I will be looking into booking again for a long weekend in the very near future had 1 of the best family weekends in such a long time didn't want to come home xx

Just returned from a little weekend break(one night - Saturday)with our grandaughters age 4 and 10. We arrived Saturday lunchtime and left 1:00pm on the Sunday. You can pay an extra ВЈ10 to stay till 5/6 o'clock on your departure day if they've got availability. The site is great, it has lots of static caravans, touring pitches and tent pitches. Be aware the site is very hilly. The facilities on site are good they include an indoor pool, the water is warm, crazy golf, a nice little park for the children to play on, lovely walks, views and entertainment in the evening. There was a Michael Bouble tribute on when we were there. He was very good. If you like bingo there's cash prizes to be won. Its not our thing but great for those who like it. There's an indoor play area in the entertainment building which the girls loved. If you haven't got children with you there's also an adults only bar in the same building. The staff on site were very helpful. The only down side for us were the pitches. There not very big and the first one that was allocated was far to small (our caravan which is 24ft was sticking out onto the road) and it also had quite a steep drop at the back which was quite dangerous for little ones and difficult to put the caravan legs down. We went to the office and because the site wasn't to busy the helpful staff said we could move to another pitch. We moved but that pitch was still quite small but had no drop at the back. Next time we book we'll be double checking what pitch is allocated before arrival. Overall a good place for families or couples. We had a smashing time and so did our grandaughters.

Just had a 2 night stay here and we loved it. The caravan was fab, most important, clean. The staff were very helpful when we spoke to them. The entertainment in the evening was a good show (the greatest show) thanks for a great stay and hopefully be back one day.

Booked through sun holidays and had a brilliant stay. Was expecting a basic 2 bed mobile home but had a 3 bed mobile home with double glazing and central heating. We've never been so warm in a caravan and it looked like this was standard for all of them. Pool was great, kids loved it and changing facilities were a lot better than others I've been to. The soft play was only small but perfect for my 2 and 5 year old. The kids disco and entertainment that we went to was good. Staff were friendly and exceedingly accommodating. Park was nice and quiet, probably helped by double glazing. Mobile homes were very clean and well equipped. Would recommend and would happily return. Was just missing somewhere on site to eat as no restaurant.

Disappointed and annoyed. Booked to stay with family to celebrate granddaughters birthday and a friends daughters birthday. Booked on touring and in total 10 kids and 9 adults plus our very friendly dog. Looked forward to us all going in the club on the Friday to watch the girls get their birthday cake and have family time. Booked as we was told dogs allowed In adult only bar ( just not in family bar ) which was still OK as you can see kids from in there. Went in and was met by a very rude woman who asked had we checked in, told her yes she took one look at our dog then abruptly said dogs are not allowed in here. I looked round and pointed out that there was 1 already in the bar and one walking in behind us. These people with dogs were regulars and clearly shocked by this statement. Even the bar man had never heard this rule before. I said I'd been told dogs were allowed In to be told well there not and you'll have to leave. People who are regulars at this site who we spoke to told us that dogs are always in the adults only side. So I guess your just shallow and picky about types of dogs you let in. !!!!!!пҝҪпҝҪпҝҪ

We stayed here for 2 nights on our way home from Scotland , we asked for a pitch near toilet block as we have a disabled teenager , the pitches were not very well kept and where they parked us it was very tight for a 4 birth , got in ok but had trouble swinging caravan out ! Also no disabled shower room ! I had to wash my teenage disabled daughter in the van рҹҳЎ as the shower rooms were very small and nowhere for her to dress after ! Also very hilly and the pitches were not level they run backwards into a fence , also couldnвҖҷt leave before 9am as no one around to lift barrier ! Would have liked to have proper food on site too itвҖҷs all takeaway , the entertainment for the kids was ok

Worse holiday park i ever been on. Even my 4 and 6 year olds said mum we aint goin back there!!... the place is beautiful with amazing views and the caravans are nice.. but the complex and the staff are vile. Wouldnt even go back for free, came home early. Staff are disgusting and half the complex needs knocking down. The arcade is the most theiving non child friendly place and the pool is cold and dirty. The site had crap all over it! Rubbish.. old decking and general crap everywhere just no need. Not one to ever complain but i did fill out a form but from the other reviews i have read i doubt it will be taken seriously.. id stay away from here especially if you have kids.

Never buy a caravan on this site they promise you the earth deliver nothing also when it says no site fees to pay ask for a breakdown of the total cost lots of hidden charges including site fees. If like me it did not work out as no repairs carried out in over 8 months and you have had enough expect to loose about 14k if you have any sense go to another site bought caravans before on different sites you loose on average 2k per year. I am only stating facts and am happy to share my dreadful experience. I was warned by the neighbouring caravans but unfortunately I had already bought if only I spoke with them first I have had to add to this review as they have taken my right to reply from the last comment they had my complaint for 8 months I emailed peter after 4 months no reply so emailed area manager colm no reply so I went up and seen Peter he offered to do the outstanding work that I had been promised for 8 months i already said I never want to step foot on this sight again so not a resolve next half price sight fees for one year what bit does he not understand I donвҖҷt want to step foot on this sight again next u paid 17k eight months ago I will give you 5k not a resolve just always remember that all site fees are hidden cost of the caravan so u pay a year in advance at all times if you leave you only get 40% back another hidden gem the site keep to themselves also they wonвҖҷt allow you to rent it out to re coupe your losses so my best advice is go to another site not Hagan where they are open honest and transparent
