‘Be Bold’ aims to recognise the difference local people are making in their local communities and to support you if you want to get involved.
Being ‘Bold’ means getting involved in your local community, taking action if it is something you are passionate about, and making a difference.
Being 'Bold' is showing your community that you want to make a positive impact on your local environment and the people who live in your neighbourhood. This could mean volunteering with a local community group, joining a sports club, setting up a social enterprise or kick starting a project, getting your business involved in the local community or even just visiting an elderly neighbour who may be feeling isolated.
We want to take this opportunity to celebrate how local people, groups and organisations across the borough are making a difference to their local communities.
