Hellebores, also known as Lenten or Christmas roses, are aptly named for the time of year that they flower and are perfect for adding some early colour to your garden. These evergreen perennials have toothed leathery leaves and beautiful early blooms which can last up to 8 weeks, making them a welcome addition in December and January; a time when little else is in flower.
Hellebores are available in virtually all colours but mainly come in whites, pinks and creams. They tole...rate a wide range of soils from neutral to acidic; grow well in sun or partial shade; are extremely hardy, and also exhibit a natural resistance to deer, frost and the extremities.
We now have a huge selection available; many of which are fully laden with buds and just about to break into flower. Come and see the full range of these delightfully cheerful winter angels and start to add some easy colour to your garden today.

We visited yesterday for the first time ~ weŌĆÖve recently moved into the area. What a lovely garden centre. CanŌĆÖt wait to try the cafe & have a good mooch around the deli shop. Also impressed with the variety in the gift shop and bought some lovely cards.

We also enjoyed stroking the beautiful owls that were visiting and chatting to their owner.

User

Visited the garden centre for the first time this week and thoroughly enjoyed it.

All the plants, trees and shrubs etc were very well looked after and looked healthy. ThereŌĆÖs also a great selection of containers and equipment.

The cafe offers good food and the best cup of real tea. The staff in the cafe were rushed off their feet but still delivered good customer service under pressure.

I also met a few lovely and friendly people.

All in all it was a great atmosphere and IŌĆÖm looking forward to popping back in the very near future :)

My family and I have visited regularly for a great many years and always loved it.

Visited the cafe last Sunday with my 19 month old grandson. The staff could not have been more helpful, carrying the tray of tea etc. for me, providing a high chair and checking I had everything I needed. Well done. Excellent customer service!

We have enjoyed visiting this lovely garden centre for many years, and have purchased some wonderful plants which have always thrived, cafe is very good, only gripe is do not go before noon if you want to order lunch,we went yesterday at 11.50 am,so close to noon, but had to find a table, buy the drinks, then queue up again to order the lunch at noon,a bit silly i think, saying that it won't put us off going, just will have to time it right in future ’┐Į.

User

Love the place and look forward to go when its finished. The only minus was we took some cake home. Lemon slice hubby had it with a cuppa pricey but ok. The 2 slices were about half the size but still charged over 2.50. If I had taken banoffe.that would have been same size. No logic.

User

Good selection of good quality plants. Plenty of parking.

User

Nice place with a great choice of plants, however the prices in the cafe are way too high, ┬Ż6.50 for a tuna or egg butty is a bit steep by anyoneŌĆÖs standards.

User

It's very nice the food is very nice but over prised ┬Ż3-50 for a piece of cake so won't be back.
