Birch Veterinary Centre Description
Birch Veterinary Centre Ltd is a friendly practice offering compassionate care to Wirral animals for over 100 years!
We are one of the largest small animal practices on Wirral and have surgeries at Oxton, Moreton and Thingwall.
At Birch Veterinary Centre we look after animals as if they were our own and enjoy a varied caseload and the challenges that come with a busy practice. We encourage work up and treatment all under one roof to offer speedy and impressive same-day care to sick pets.
We offer digital xray and ultrasound to aid diagnostics. We also have a state of the art dental machine, endoscopy and fully stocked laboratory facilities to aid diagnoses. Local cover for out-of-hours work means 24-hour dedication to your pet's well being. Our vets are LVI-trained and able to offer your pets continental travel via the PETS passport scheme.

Today we have learned some sad news, the lovely Ruby passed away peacefully at home over the weekend. Ruby had been a patient with us more many years, and in her later life she visited us more frequently due to various health problems. She will be very sadly missed. The team would like to send their condolences to her owners.
Luna has brought her dad Alfie with her for moral support 😁

Lovely Kara is training to be an assistance dog, to help people with various disabilities, if anyone would like to help with the socialisation and temporary boarding of these dogs, please contact Dogs For Good, via their website. Any help will be gratefully received.

Happy Xmas to all our lovely clients and pets, we hope you all have a happy and healthy Xmas. The surgery will be open on Xmas eve in the morning, then closed until Boxing Day morning, when there will be a surgery at 11am for emergencies only. Normal hours will resume on friday 27th December
