This is Noel and today with the support of his Bluebird Carer Karen, he had his first burger in 25 years! As you can see, they had a lovely afternoon sat out in the sunshine. It's amazing how supporting someone to leave their home and do something we often take for granted can make such a massive difference.

Our latest care worker of the month award goes to Vicky! Vicky has worked at Bluebird for almost a year and gets so much fantastic feedback from her customers and their families. Vicky received her award for always giving 100% and going that step further to ensure her customers have a happy and fulfilling time at home. WERE COLLECTING! Last year at Bluebird we helped out by collecting Easter eggs for the children of St Helens who otherwise may not have woken up to any on Easter morning. We have decided to do the same again this year and hope to donate them to the Hope Centre who do a fantastic job running a local food bank and will distribute them to those less fortunate. Please come down and drop of your donated eggs at 70 Cambridge Road before 15th April. Its a fantastic cause and any donations are appreciated. Thanks

Today is the international day for epilepsy awareness. Our team has been getting involved customising their uniforms to spread the word! It started in 2008 when 9 year old Cassidy Megan decided that people needed to know they weren’t alone and get people talking about the condition that affects over half a million people in the UK alone.

Today we got our results back from our annual quality audit and inspection from head office. We are so thrilled to say we scored a massive 96%!! This was based on our care planning, staffing, training and the way we run the business behind the scenes including feedback from both customers and staff. We would like to say a HUGE thank you to all of our wonderful employees who go the extra mile in their role. This includes our care assistants out in the field, our management team and all the way up to our Directors. Everyone has such an important role in ensuring our customers get the best possible care and we couldn't do it without every single one of you. Congratulations Team Bluebird!!

Our latest Care Worker of the Month Award goes to Janet! Janet was one of the first ever care workers to start with Bluebird Care St Helens back in 2014 and is loved by all her customers. She has received this award for her loyalty and for always providing a high quality of care to everyone she visits! One of her customers has said 'She'd be lost if she didn't hear Janet's laugh during her week!' Well done Janet!
