Despite dental disease affecting more people globally than any other, over 70% of the world's population still has no access to anyone who can help. Millions of people in developing nations suffer from crippling pain due to untreated dental disease. Bridge2Aid is a UK charity that sends volunteer dentists and dental nurses to train Rural Health Workers in emergency dental treatment. This year we're sponsoring the training of one of those Rural Health Worker in Shinyanga, Tanzania. Did you know you can access the services of our Dental Hygienist/Therapist Amelia without the need to see a dentist?
This means you can continue to attend your own dentist for on-going regular dental treatment and see Amelia for additional gum care or cosmetic cleaning if you wish, or you can see her even if you don’t currently have a dentist.

We can now offer patients Invisalign Treatment.
Invisalign can help to straighten crowded teeth without the need for traditional metal braces. The treatment is nearly invisible and is removable.
Together with your dentist you can review and agree on your treatment before a series of custom made aligners is produced. Each aligner is slightly different, moving your teeth gradually into the desired position.

On Saturday some of the team attempted the beautiful 3 Peaks Challenge. Phil, Owen, Johnny, Sarah, Kerry and Liz, conquered all 3, with Chloe having to stick with 2 due to an evening's engagement. It was hard, and some of us hobbled round the practice today, but it was a wonderful experience and a great fun day.

Tomorrow we're taking on the 3 Peaks. Rucksacks are packed, boots are ready, the forecast is good, there's no going back!
