IDEAS NEEDED FOR NOTICEBOARD! Anyone who knows the clinic, knows we have a very ‘active’ noticeboard with new topics every month! This summers renovations have exhausted my ideas so I need some suggestions of anything Physio related you would like to know more about for our next topic. We’ll post it on here once it’s done so even if you are not coming to the clinic you can still see it. Many thanks.

Great effort today! We were all finished by 10 hours 45 mins! Tough day but went very well! We celebrated at the top of Ingleborough with Prosseco!

Week 5 of the building work and it’s been a tough week! ( for Nic and Louise) anyway!! So what better way to finish it off by the Bodyfix gang and a few other nutters tackling the Yorkshire 3 Peaks tomorrow! Wish us luck although having 5 physios to hand is a definite bonus! Pics to follow tomorrow!

Week 5 of this 8 week project and we are on schedule to have it all looking good again very soon....you just need a little imagination still! Louise and Nicola deserve a medal for staying put whilst the builders literally work around and over them. To have a wee they have to sit with a gym ball on their knee and ‘cement dust in your hair’ is the look for summer 2018! But it’s ok as no one can see them as they also work in the dark!!

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our team and help manage our busy Physiotherapy clinic in Silsden.
... The successful applicant will need:- • A friendly, welcoming manner and strong communication skills • An interest in health and well being would be beneficial • Competent computer skills • Previous experience an advantage but not essential, training will be given
The role is extremely varied but the main duties include:- • Answering telephone and greeting patients • Booking appointments • Taking payments • General office duties, filing, invoicing, banking etc. • Dealing with Insurance companies and collating medical reports
This is a permanent part-time position and the hours are Mondays-Thursdays 12.30pm-3.30pm Fridays 9.00am-12.30pm
Starting Salary £8.50 p/h
References required.

We are extremely sad to announce that our long service receptionist Nicola is leaving Bodyfix after putting up with us all for over 8 years! We have tried really hard to make her stay but it's time for her to have a new challenge and develop her new career. We are extremely grateful for her hard work and dedication and we will miss her very much. She always displays a calm and controlled front despite the chaos we cause her! I am sure those that know her will join me in a... heartfelt thank you and good luck for the future.

BODYFIX IS HAVING A MAKEOVER!!
WHAT WILL CHANGE? Downstairs will remain the same but a corridor will be formed in the back treatment room and a doorway knocked through to the stairs. Upstairs we are creating two more treatment rooms, another toilet and waiting area. It's a 'big job' as we need major changes to the electrics, plumbing and decoration. It will give us capacity to expand our physio appointments and allow Acupuncturist Ellena to offer daytime appointments.... We are also hoping to offer other complementary therapists to Bodyfix such as massage, reflexology and a vestibular clinic.
It will be business as usual but a change of venue. We are renting two treatment rooms at Woodhead's Gym. All daytime patients will be seen there whilst the building work is being done. (It will be too noisy at Bodyfix!) Louise and Nicola will be staying at Bodyfix supplying the builders with tea and cake!! but will also provide 'chaperone service' up to Woodhead's. If you have an appointment we will try and contact you the day before your appointment and check you know where you will be treated. The treatment rooms at Woodhead's gym are upstairs and so some of our patients may need to be seen elsewhere if stairs are a problem. Payment can be cash, card payment over the phone or you can nip down and see Nicola or Louise as I'm sure they will be feeling very lonely down there with no patients to talk to!

Just moved to the area and wanted a good local physio/sports massage and have found a good one here. Lovely deep tissue massage last night, just the right amount of pain! Already booked another session!

I have been for plenty of things but my mane problem was other year for my abductor which kept me out of cricket for two weeks but they sorted me out , and this year I went over my ankle running I had dne it few times before but this was the worst but Jana and Candice strapped it up so well I didn't miss my cup final which we won , I stil feel abit of pain now but that's cause I'm an idiot and don't rest , but body fix is my number one physio for the whole of Yorkshire and I have been t most , they are friendly efficient , they all know what they are on about and mainly hands on which I think is how physios should be , then u get to the problem . I have recommended to all my customers and they say exactly same as me . Keep up the good work guys
