Today I have had my daughters 7th birthday in the gymnastics hall. It was brilliant!! Scott the instructor was great with all the kids and they all got to go on all the equipment. My daughter loves gymnastics and this just made her birthday! Would highly recommend!!

User

Had a fab day at the wedding event that was taking place. Found it easy to park as we arrived early and staff were helpful

User

Great place for the cheerleading competition which was held on Sunday 19th november

User

Great gym shame you don't have one in Bristol

User

Excellent venue close to motorways and train station. Nice clean tennis centre, good lighting, score boards and a great viewing area for spectators. Nice food from caters upstairs

User

Everytime I have dealt with the arena it has always been a great experience helpful and friendly staff a plenty !!!

User

Best gym I have ever been a member of. Plenty of equipment and friendly staff - can’t fault it.

User

Went to crafting live, it was great. Only problem there were only 3 toilets.

User

Great place staff friendly and helpful daughter loves going there for her tennis lessons. Only bad point is find 1 of staff in coffee shop rude like your putting him out by asking for a drink

User

Not sure if it is the venue's or organiser's fault but to not supply refreshments all day at an all day cheer comp is just unsatisfactory.

User

Was there for a cheerleading competition at 7:30am. Arena was freezing. Needed lots of hot drinks to keep warm. Didn’t take my coat or scarf off the whole time I was there. Sort out the heating!!

User

Only used the outdoor track but wasn't really impressed. Many of the lines are faded and cracks have appeared in several places. The outer lanes are unusable due to the amount of dirt and grime that has accumulated. A good clean wouldn't go amiss.

It definitely needs some TLC especially when its £4.90 to use. Witton Park is £4.10 and is a hell of a lot nicer

Bolton arena is a decent sized, well equipped arena. The problem I have is trying to book a badminton court. Wednesday nights are the only nights I am free to play badminton due to having two children. The only problem is, when we try to book a court, no earlier than a week before as that is their policy, badminton club have block booked the whole place for the next month at least! We have paid for a special card so we can come and play, yet we cannot even use the courts. When we emailed Bolton arena, the reply we got was basically, badminton club have been there for 12 years and that's just the way it is, also it was suggested that we choose another night to play! No apology, just a rude email in reply. I am not very pleased and unfortunately will probably have to find somewhere else to play.
