I love Bolton Market! Wonderful variety of foods from all over the world. Great atmosphere and the highlight for me is to stop for lunch at the African cafe called Nkomo.

Haven't been to Bolton Market..Ashburner Street for many years. From meat to fish to fruit n veg. We bought the lot. Astonishing prices. Excellent quality. .served by warm friendly good honest folk.

And to finish off saying..A hot pastie in a barn is the business. I heard it's a Bolton thing.. a pie sarny. Enjoyed it and the frothy coffee at the cafe ..forgot name..but has table n chairs next door to it. Excellent Pasties n Coffee and best price.

Bought jeans and shirts from a young chap. Again very helpful and service was professional.

Bought sweets for kids..my wife bought nail varnish and stuff for our daughter. Bought meat in abundance and along with fish. All at incredible prices and yet at high quality.

We will be returning very soon.

Fantastic place, since they introduced the food hall with Great Ale bar and a variety of eateries it has really revitalised the place. You get to meet some wonderful interesting folk. Has become quite a hub for people meeting up and making new aqutances. Food market is brilliant, with such a variety and a fraction of supermarket prices. Was only thinking today how blessed we are to have such a place to shop as we bought our fresh salad and then enjoyed a pint from Great Ale. Bolton does seem to be becoming more vibrant with the opening up of the Vaults under the market place, good to see life coming back into our town.

Always go on to shop and my daughter and I never fail to have a very good coffee from the Frozen Palace it is rijoh coffee and only priced at one pound a cup like all the hot drinks I never thought it would take off in the middle of the market with a bar but it is always busy

User

Allways good friendly service great foof and a good bar and plenty room too sit and chat great place to go

User

The market itself does have a good selection of fruit veg fish and meat with bargains to be had.

User

Seasonal fresh items are always a great price but I like the odd random things that crop-up....also well priced.

User

Love Bolton market visit once a month from preston

User

Brilliant day both the food hall which is buzzing and the market hall and outside market really good with a nice mixture of stalls all at competitive prices.

User

Alway's loved Bolton Market plenty to choose from and the food court is brilliant. The meat market is hectic but well worth it.Only downside is parking as it always has been and the nutters who use it at times and damage the cars.

This review is for the shop called Habiknit on bolton market. I visited today for some fabric and left empty handed. Staff are extremely rude and abrupt with terrible attitude. Totally uncalled for never been in a situation like it will be sure never to ask her for help or advise again! Will stick to eBay for fabric, wool and decorations from now on! It's very sad that a person needs to be like that!

This rating is simply going to the market chippy. The food was an absolute insult. There were 5 of us and we ordered fish & peas. The fish was wetter than an otters pocket & the peas were dryer than a nuns bits. The pudding was like eating a jellyfish and the pies where disgusting. The chips were acceptable. But if your going to go there, don't order a coffee.. we complained about the food and we got a mouthful of the so called chef..
