WeŌĆÖve just had tea in the bar and are staying till Sunday itŌĆÖs the second time weŌĆÖve stayed and IŌĆÖm sure it wonŌĆÖt be the last, itŌĆÖs a lovely hotel and the staff are great, the young lad who has looked after us tonight (Doyle) has been fab heŌĆÖs a credit to the hotel xxx

The hotel is lovely. Room was spacious. Unfortunately we missed our breakfast as we only slept after 3am after the party. But our friends said the breakfast was nice. Will definitely go back again

I love the place being able to sleep n see the stadium when I wake breakfasts r fantastic loads to choose from the valentines meal was Suberb fast n excellent service can't fault them not the entertainment I expected but good none the less my only disappointment was that I ad pitch view room but was not allowed to watch the match in it as I AV done in the past thanks for an enjoyable weekend

Fantastic valentines weekend. we booked the valentines package and weren't disappointed, the food in reflections is excellent and the staff hard working and attentive. the only let down for me is the spa area, its not designed to spend much time in, there arent any sunbeds to relax on around the pool and if there were it was too cold to want to sit there. ive been to lots of spa hotels and this is the worst. that being said i love this hotel and the staff so will be back.

Fantastic Hotel with polite and courteous staff especially Doyle who took such good care of us in the bar lounge, he was friendly, informative of the local locations,team and statue etc, professional, courteous and helpful everything "they " say about Northern Hospitality being the best ... is true and the location was gorgeous what a lovely hotel , really nice clean rooms and lovely full breakfast with so much choice, I'd be very pleased if I was booked in again.

Stayed for Leisure purposes, had breakfast which was bang on. Staff where spot on, just felt the room (I had a pitch side view) was dated, that was my only constructive criticism of the Whites Hotel.

Nice place friendly staff but only go in because fanzone for home games scrapped so little choice beer over priced also food never had any due to price not the best for footy fans

Booked two nights due to work , very friendly and helpful staff, very clean and tidy throughout the entire hotel. I had a very restful stay after my busy working days and had lovely breakfasts both mornings too, even had breakfast 10 feet away from No3 Andrew Taylor who was an absolute gent to the guests kids that where constantly chatting to him. Would highly recommend this hotel, I will gladly stay here again. Very pleased ’┐Į’┐Į

As a travelling football supporter its great to have a lovely hotel on site. Fantastic room. We ate in the bar & the food was good & the staff friendly. Will definitely stay again , hoping Bolton stay in the Championship

The food was very good, although to order room service took ages. The number was constantly engaged, so phoned reception who managed to put me through. Room was tired. Could hear the occupant of the room next door going to the toilet. Very thin walls! There was loud music played in the corridor outside my room. I complained to reception about it as it was 10.40pm and I needed to sleep and they turned it off. I was glad to have my earplugs with me.

Hotel was outstanding and the breakfast was really good .. the gym was to small .. but the worst thing about was the evening meal.. the menu was shocking for a hotel of that standard if you like burgers then you might like but you won't like the price .. ┬Ż14 for a burger I had an omlet and it was runny when it came and when they redone it ..it had no cheese in it .. so to sum it up hotel outstanding but the food was the worst I've ever had and too pricey

Room is amazing however the food is not good! Prawn cocktail the 6 prawns were warm??? Lemon meringue was under cooked and running off the plate very disappointed!

Paper thin walls, people talking loud and doors banging making me jump as they sounded like our room it was so loud. This continued until the early hours. Could even hear the neighbours urinating. Uncomfortable and small bed. Every time my husband turned over, I was shook and woke up, which was the same for him. Lumpy pillows. Without question one of the worst nights ever spent in a hotel room.

Nice place and breakfast, but as there was 4 of us in room the bed I sleept on was AWFUL like a camp bed but worst bed I've ever had to sleep on. Won't be going back and paying to sleep on a bed like that, would have been better sleeping on the floor. Then when I told them they just said they would let house keeping know. Well that's no good to me now I've paid to sleep on something that bad, back and side really sore this morning! Friends next door was exactly the same too!

Lovely receptionist, then it all went pear shaped. Hotel was busy but function was on so we went to the Harvester who were going to refuse us entry as we couldn't prove we were away fans or home fans. After a long day at work, just wanted some food! Went back to hotel , went to bed and was woken up by two men n a woman fighting underneath us in the car park for at least twenty mi Utes, fell asleep then woke up to people running up n down the corridor and then next door having an argument!

Breakfast was nice but was glad to leave.

Basically in a few words, hard faced reception, no real welcome.. cool to cold breakfast (at extra cost) . didn't feel like a guest at all..
