None of us were entrepreneurs or even that business minded but we had a vision to make a difference in peoples lives....and sell AMAZING Coffee!!! ‚ėēÔłŹ Twelve months later and here we are still smiling but most importantly making our customers smile too!! We‚Äôve met some FANTASTIC people along the way and a lot of you we now refer to as our BonBons Family!! It‚Äôs not only our customers we‚Äôre thankful to but also our AMAZING Staff & Volunteers...without them we couldn‚Äôt have achieved our Dream! what a gem of a find. just had the most amazing afternoon tea I have ever had, it was my first visit but will definitely not be the last.. My daughter is already planning to bring her husband very soon. the whole experience was top notch, from the welcome to leaving. fantastic. looking forward to going back in the near future. a big thank you to Sylvia and Paul

What a great place. We sat outside in the beautiful garden had the club sandwich which was HUGE, they kindly wrapped half up for me to take home. My daughter and I hen shared the chocolate fudge cake which was amazing. Great service super friendly and clean. Can‚Äôt wait to go back and try the smoothies ÔŅĹ

What a fantastic place this is. Great coffee and hot chocolate and the cakes are Devine. I will certainly be back. If you live close by and haven't yet been, you are missing out. Superb

Went here for my sisters baby shower and it was perfect. They decorated the room really nice and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Afternoon tea was amazing. Highly recommended x

UPDATE 2: Today we went back to BonBons with our children and all had the afternoon tea at Sylvia's invitation. We were very warmly welcomed and the food was outstanding and plentiful! All of us would like to thank Sylvia and the BonBons staff for such a special treat and we will definitely be returning.



UPDATE: After posting a poor review on this website the owner Sylvia contacted us straight away and was very apologetic. We now realise that our experience was not what customers generally experience (which is borne out by all of the other brilliant reviews) and was just a 'blip' that occurred whilst Sylvia was not there. We are now looking forward to our next visit!

This is my new favourite place - visited today for my first time and I will certainly be back!

It‚Äôs was very nostalgic for me and this place evokes lovely memories for me. This coffee shop is lovely, beautifully decorated, lovely staff and I love the uniforms. The little touches are beautiful In here. The food was delicious and spot on. Everything was plentiful and the finishing touches like the salad was good and proper rather a token leaf you get in some places. I will certainly return here and I will unreservedly recommend it ÔŅĹ percent

We recently visited our home town from the USA. To take our family here for great coffee and a fine selection of great food and awesome cakes ÔŅĹ was wonderful.

The staff were great.

This made us homesick, Penwortham and Preston should be proud to have this quality establishment.

One of the best afternoon teas I've had. Beautiful inside, friendly staff and the food was amazing, we even ended up bringing some home with us as we were so full. Can't wait to go again. This place is a must to try.

My first visit here with a friend. How lovely is this place! Tables really nicely laid and staff so friendly. Food amazing and so very fresh and plenty of it. The atmosphere is easy and relaxing. My friend and I chose to to sit indoors although there is such a lovely outside area and, although on a main road feels quite secluded and private. Will most definitely call here again in a heartbeat. One other comment I would make is that this establishment has not followed the trend of hard floors and and surroundings, this makes for a loud environment for people with hearing problems can be a problem, a pleasure to see carpet and wallpaper

Lovely place to have a coffee and a catch up! The cakes look amazing, friendly staff. 10/10 for baby changing facilities nappies, wipes cream etc all on offer in case you get stuck such a fab idea, with comfy changing mats very happy baby & mummy. Will definitely be visiting again soon.

Lovely late lunch at Bon Bons Coffee Bar today. Freshly prepared food, friendly staff, good service and very pleasant surroundings. Our empty plates says it all, the food was delicious especially enjoyed the side salad with the balsamic dressing. There was a large choice of delicious cakes and all five of us chose something different. Will be back again soon!

Lovely coffee shop, very relaxing atmosphere and friendly staff. Had a loose leaf green tea and scone. Will be back to sample the food. As I discussed yesterday with you Sylvia it would be a lovely venue to enjoy a glass of wine and nibbles in the evening. I wish you every success in your venture, I'm sure you will go from strength to strength.

Love the coffee and breakfasts here, the staff and the owners are really friendly and helpful.

Also, recently visited on a Friday evening with a group of friends.

Their cheese selection is highly recommended with artisan breads, olives, array of cheese, pickles etc. Went down a treat with a bottle of fizz! Thank you, we will be back.

I‚Äôm so glad I discovered this delightful cafe. Great food and a lovely setting. I was especially impressed by the baby change area in the ladies toilet and the emergency toiletries ÔŅĹ that the cafe to a new level as not all cafes are quite so baby friendly. I‚Äôll definitely be back.

I was here last night for my friends surprise21st party and it was fantastic, the staff were patient and so helpful and polite. I will definitely be going again both day and night for coffee and the amazing Gin O clock!ÔŅĹ

I recently won an afternoon tea for 4 as part of a competition. Staff were so lovely and attentive and couldn't do enough for you! The table was dressed with balloons and helped me celebrate my birthday with my family even more so with the gorgeous treat! I will most certainly be returning amd so will many others off our good word! I've had many afternoon teas over the country experiencing many different levels and this is one of the best! Had afternoon tea at Bon Bons yesterday and it was absolutely delicious! A warm welcome, perfect surroundings and friendly, efficient staff, all made my first visit a very enjoyable experience. I had goats cheese panini which was very filling with lovely side salad. Soup looked delicious as well

Would defiantly recommend a visit and we left with cakes as we were too full to eat any more and reasonable priced.

First time visit for our group of 'ladies do lunch' and my Guide Dog Thelma. Very friendly staff who made sure we were all ok and that Thelma had water and a treat of carrots and a dog chew (which she loved). The food was lovely and the smoothies are to die for. All of us tried each smoothie, can recommend any of them. We will definitely be going back again.

Finally visited Bon Bons 26 april..2018 .Is this Penworthams " Jewel in the Crown " ?WOW ! from the minute my friend and I arrived, we were aware that this is the place to be.. We were given a choice of tables, we chose the Dining Room. When we met Sylvia, I remarked what a pity the windows had Sheer Drapes ! as if by Magic she immediately pulled the Cords and yes ,,another WOW !The beautiful Magic Garden was on view :) The food , Coffee, Decorations, Peaceful Atmosphere..Service , Presentation- Loved their Uniforms ,Disabled Facilities .Baby changing,,,,,Need I go on ...There is only One Place for me .......and ITS BON BONS ......CONGRATULATIONS .....Sylvia . Paul and Lisa ITS A 5 + From me and very well deserved :)

Came in today and it was delicious. Too much to enjoy in one sitting so I had to take some home to enjoy later (not that I’m complaining!) The service is 5*, the cafe is ultra pretty and extremely clean. Will be visiting again. Thank you BonBons xx

Called in for a coffee last week and it knocked spots off the major high street chains ÔŅĹÔŅĹ wonderful coffee in beatifull surroundings with fantastic staff. I'll be back to try some of the cake soon!!!
