Don't forget! It's our Late Night Shopping Event tonight from 6pm until 9pm.
With various offers and vouchers available across a range of stalls and products that will only be available for tonight.

User

What a brilliant layout! Loads of small oldie worldly “shops” packed full of all kinds of goodies. Took me right back to my childhood! Awesome Christmas displays on the upper floors. What’s not to enjoy? Took a break after a couple of hours (couldn’t believe they had passed so fast!) and enjoyed a sausage barm with a coffee.

Well worth a visit.

User

We called today to ‘find’ Christmas with my two year old and he wasn’t disappointed. Absolutely fantastic displays, lovely lights (my 13 week old loved them!) and staff were amazing helpful, especially Paul who took us up and down in the service lift when the pram didn’t fit into the normal lift.

Sunday 8th October. Family time. Christmas displays made me tear. Breathtaking, beautiful. A labour of love by all involved can be seen. Truly magical, heartwarming, heartfelt. People always friendly. I felt like a child again. The buzz of the place, the smell of foods, candles, sweets and smiles all around. My favourite place. Never disappointed.

User

Oh don't you just love reading reviews ? Watch out for the hard sausages and window open in August cos it's warm lol..

Anyway we enjoyed the experience.. easy to get to but don't follow your sat nav if you come from Leeds as ours would have taken us the long way round! (oh wait that's a review if my sat nav) ignore that..

It's a great idea for traders to display their products, people are very friendly there no pressure sales just real people..

So much to choose from even if you just want to have a wander around and have a look..

Oh the 4th floor go check out the Christmas decks.. brilliant

Parking is alright.. ok it's not tarmac but nothing a car manufactured after 1983 can't cope with..

Great down to earth experience..

User

I love Botany Bay it's one of my favourite places to visit

Lovely staff

Lovely food and drinks

User

Had some lunch there very nice lovely day out found the staff very friendly definitely recommend well worth a visit

User

a lovely morning shopping n mooching there. bought a tea light holder bag and champagne fizz saver. had lunch in the cafe and got info for the dinosaur event at easter for our grandson. thanks for a lovely morning.

User

Yes the car park a lot to be desired but I really enjoyed looking round loads of different things to see and buy we did in the cafe at the very top I found the staff very friendly we had the braising steak it was tasty the mash was also very good in all I enjoyed the whole experience.

User

The Christmas floor is brilliant and the first floor has a few nice bits and bobs but the rest is getting a little shabby. Could do with a financial boost to make it worth a return visit. The staff are still lovely

User

Not my cup of tea, more aimed at the older generation I think, 65+, especially the clothing range... Some good items but a tad overpriced for me...Maybe good back in the eighties n definitely wouldn't go out of my way to go there

User

Just been to look around because it say's that in the hobby & craft it say they do doll house craft but ..No they don't couldn't find any .but other than that the Christmas display is lovely

User

Car park is uneven and people could easily trip. The lift to floors is so slow. Biggest failure though is the restaurant. Expensive. £3.75 for a lukewarm bowl of soup. I use the word bowl loosly more like a small cup and a small roll.

Has the potential of being really good.

User

It’s not as patch on what it was, used have all kinds of antiques. It’s jus looks like it’s stuck in the 90’s now, at least it had some character 20 year ago, it’s just poor now

User

Heard a lot about it but was very disappointed. The place was very closterphobic and I shudde to think what would happen if there was a fire. One archaic lift taking people up and down and Xmas display on shop floor was an array of flammable plastics and fairy lights. Add 18th Century mill. Recipe for a disaster. Some of the people who go there were very rude and ignorant as well.

User

Due to the car park everyone is commenting on my 2 year old fell over and now has a cut and big lump on his head scrapes on his noise and knee and a fat lip!!! Do something about this dreadful car park!! The owner has enough money to land his private helicopter there, I can guarantee his helipad is nice and even.

User

Car park uneven and full of pot holes, shopping area ok but not really fantastic. 4th floor for Christmas is really good have to be honest it’s the best bit of it all.

Called at the restaurant for dinner and the Hot beef & onion sandwich was absolutely rubbish, sliced beef and watery onions which made the bread watery and soggy wouldn’t called it gravy either.

Will call again next Christmas as that’s the only time I call to look at Christmas things as it’s the best floor

User

Car park full of pot holes

Cafe on the top floor absolutely rubbish very poor quality food that's overpriced

Shopping experience not what I expected kitchen area quite nice but the rest of the floors boring

Lifts very slow and not big enough if you are in a wheelchair or have a twinpram you have to go in the goods lift won't be going back

User

Very disappointing visit to the restaurant. Paid £22 for 3 sandwiches and 3 drinks. The side salad was just a few pieces of brown lettuce and soggy peppers and was warm. Coffee tasted awful and cheap.

User

Not my cup of tea, On the positive the Christmas shop on the 4th floor was the best thing

about it.

The clothes were poor quality and old fashioned.

The food on the 4th floor was nothing special and abit over priced.

I hate to see it busy as we needed to use the lift and it took ages, and it had a mind of its own.

I didn't think it was very clean at all and people stood outside the main entrance smoking.

Defiantly will not be going again unless some serious money gets spent on it.
