Busy tool making - #foxracingshox #x2 shaft clamps for service centres and home mechanics alike.
For jobs like this I love the #manchestersaw, even with a band saw or a big chop saw I have to stand there and cut the blanks. However the power hacksaw means I can crack on with the next op as the blanks come off.
Next they will be faced, bored out, milled then split and deburred before adding magnets to keep them secured to a vice.

Final batch of light mounts polished before we send them to the anodisers.
Each one has been designed, manually machined and manually polished at our workshop in #preston.
They have been a real labour of love and we are super proud of them.
... Should be on the website by the end of the month in 26mm and 31.8mm black or silver. They will mount pretty much anywhere where you have an m5 thread -dropouts, fork crown, rack mounts etc.
Shipping will be worldwide.
Not to be used as stunt pegs, or egg cups.

Help - we need your opinion!
Product packaging, how important is it to you?
A few new products are on their way and we are having a bit of a dilemma.
... We all know how nice it is to receive a new product in a beautiful package, makes us feel like we have invested wisely into a quality product.
However packaging design and production is very expensive, up to 32% of the projected RRP on some of the quotes we have had.
Ultimately the more we have looked into materials the more apparent it seems to be that a lot of it will just end up in landfill.
Not wanting to put people off buying our products it would be much appreciated if you could click on your preference below.
Thanks in advance.

Matt is selling his Surly Straggler 1 x on account of the fact that it has only done 40 dry miles since new, work takes priority :)
An excellent adventure, gravel, cx, commuter, light touring bike. SRAM Rival 1x groupset, Halo Devaura Wheelset. Lots of mounting bosses and thr ability to run a hub gear with it's sliding dropouts.
RRP is ┬Ż1,750, asking price is ┬Ż1,000 no offers.
... The bike measures 52cm. According to Surly's size chart this would be for a rider from 5'4 to 6' tall but we would say more like 5'7" to 5'11" would be better. Surly bikes do tend to come up a little big - we all tend to ride 54cm road bikes but the 52cm fits us all nicely at 5'7" to 5'9".
The bike could easily pass as brand new, it's immaculate with a set of continental travel contacts in addition to the Surly Knard tires. Both sets of tyres, the chain and brake pads look new.
The lay back seat post was changed for an inline genetic post and the gusset saddle swapped for a WTB. Aside from that it's stock.
UK Shipping can be arranged. Get in touch if you are interested.

It's always a good day when you save a frame from the glue factory - see previous post with the worst wobbliest press fit BB: https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fb id=2247142268855092&id=1553886718180 654
We decided the best bet was to machine some adaptors use a smaller Hope PF41 bottom bracket (as the two halves of them tighten together).
... Everything is snug and concentric, really pleased with the results.

Took my son Lewis's Rockshox pikes in to Bounce suspension when he was complaining they were performing like a pogo stick. I got a phone call the next day saying the forks had been stripped and inspected and the damper was found to be the cause of the problem. With a full damper and fork service they are now like new and as Lewis puts it "Plush". Thanks guys for sorting them out and getting them back to us in time for the weekends riding. Great service, literally!!

User

Took my fox 40s in for a needed service, and with damage from previous owners. Got my forks back within a few days and my forks look and feel like new again!!! Great workmanship and customer service. Will be going again to get my rear sus done. ’┐Į

User

Took my bike in for the premier service, could not be more pleased with the result. After 18 month of heavy use it came back like brand new! Great shop, excellent advice and supper service A*

User

The guys at Bounce came very highly recommended and I can see why! Was weary taking my bike anywhere after a previous bad experience with a different bike shop. Kept in the loop from the start about the work needed and given options of what I wanted to fix and how all at a very fair price. Even gave advise about other things when went to pick my bike up which was very much appreciated as I usually like to attempt my own work.

Definately be saving myself some time though and taking all of my bikes here in the future. Sound guys too ¤¢Æ

User

Thank you so much for sorting out my commuter bike so quickly, can honestly say it feels better than I did when I first bought it. I can honestly recommend these guys to everyone, I went in with a budget and they talked me out of spending it all! Showed me what was important, what was OK and didn't need fixing and gave me some great tips on how to keep costs down in the future. See you next time!

User

Simply can't recommend Bounce enough. Just got my trusty steed back from Frank and the team following a full drivetrain swap out and new set of forks. The bikes put together better now than when i first bought it, running super smooth. Far from feeling like 'another service' they give the job the proper attention it deserves. The fact i drive 1.5 hours, each way for the service should tell you something. Bike service is a solid 5/5.

User

Serviced and replaced a couple of things on my son-in-law's hybrid (he passed away just before Christmas). I am using his bike to cycle in a couple of Charity Cycling Challenges to raise money for two charities who looked after him during his cancer.

I rode in in the 100 mile Four Counties Challenge on Sunday, and it was superb.

I will be riding it from London to Paris in July and will definitely take it along to Bounce for checks etc.

Brilliant, friendly local service by guys who have "been there".

User

Sent in my 5 year old Fox 32 forks for a LONG overdue service...

I had a go at servicing the lowers myself, but it never felt right!

If I didnŌĆÖt know better IŌĆÖd say the forks returned from bounce weŌĆÖre a brand new set!

CouldnŌĆÖt recommend enough!

User

Outstanding service from Bounce Cycles - highly recommend you use them for servicing your cycles & shocks. Fast, efficient, professional service & will be using them again for sure. LEGENDS ! I was doing a charity cycle ride surrey to Glasgow (443 miles ) to raise money for shelter whilst 180 miles up north my brakes had worn completely out worrying about how i was going to do another 263 miles going up and down big hills without them. i found these guys on online and im so glad i did ! Whilst in the shop i explained what i was doing and they were more than happy to help. Even gave me some gifts and a map for my journey . And were so nice to stand near me as i previously been sleeping in a tent without having a wash in days. These are the guys you want to be going to for your bike !!!!

User

I'm very satisfied with the bike service in Bounce Cycles. The price is affordable for me. People are friendly and kind to customers. They are willing to explain more about the problems of my bike. They also provide good bike service in order to ensure the safety of my bike. I must recommend my friends to Bounce Cycles in the future.

User

I can't thank Frank and the team enough for the services what he does for my two (three) road bikes!

Had an oil leak issue with my Fox RP23 shock, after reading some reviews for Bounce & with recommendations off friends gave them a ring & spoke with Frank. Upshot was that I dropped my shock off the following day & Frank explained the costs & that he would keep me informed of the progress. This he duly did & a few days later got the call to say that it was ready.

The shock must have been gradually losing oil & therefore its damping/performance over quite a few rides previously. Now repaired & refitted to the bike, it's like night & day, like having a new bike!

Top service, full marks! I'll certainly spread the word & recommend you to friends in the future.

User

Great service from bounce! Bike went in for forks/rear shock service, Plus some other bits and bobs. Bike is like new again and the rear shock feels better than when I bought the bike originally! Over all very pleased with the work done.

User

First time using Bounce, and won't be the last. I cannot recommend them enough for anyone who cares about their bikes, even if you are not local.

Service from start to finish was friendly, prompt and arrived looking and working like new.

I booked in a Fox Evo and Reverb dropper for a full inspection, and posted off to their HQ. Received a call from the guys to explain the condition of the hydraulics, with a detailed review and how to get the parts back up to working like new.

Evo and Reverb arrived back when stated and worked perfectly. I had a slight hiccup refitting the dropper, but a quick call to the team and they were happy to provide guidance and tips on the refit.

User

Fantastic! Friendly service and timely. Took my shock in for a rebuild which wasn't on a good way and came back like new.

Will be going back for sure.

User

Don't hesitate to use these guys they do an excellent job and look after your interests, this time rather than just perform the service I asked for Frank advised me to return the fork to RockShox for a warranty claim as it is under 2 years old and he assessed the symptom as more than just natural wear and tear, thanks guys.

User

By far the best customer service IŌĆÖve had from any bike shop, frank explained everything I need to know about my suspension and took the time to properly set it up for me and it has made a huge difference, definitely worth the travel and will be going back.

User

Best customer service I've had anywhere for a while, these guys talked me through exactly what I needed for my bike and even though I don't know much about them, made it very easy to understand. Can't recommend enough, so glad I have somewhere local to take my bike from now on. These guys definitely set the standard!
