We've rented our house with Bowker since October 2016 and in the last couple of months we've had a new front door, the bathroom plastered and they have sorted us a brand new roof on the house, I'd just like to thank you all for sorting these things out as we really appreciate it. Also thanks to Rachel (i think her name was) who came this month to check the house and sort some other little bits out we needed, she was lovely and so helpful.

I would highly recommend bowker lettings to anybody looking to rent, they are very fair with all there tenants. Also they are happy to help you with anything you need. There just brilliant at what they do.

I must say, the girls and all off the staff were so helpful when I struggled so much to find myself and my little girl a new home. They went above and beyond thier means when no one else could help........

Very disappointed in bowker lettings. Avoid at all costs! Phoned up to view a property and told them we had dogs to make sure it was okay before viewing . We were then told yes by Dean who said dogs were fine. So viewed it and put an application form in and payed £180 admin fee , which they were more than happy to take . They said they would get back to us in the next couple of days . They didn't . We were promised calls with Ginny's 'the owners' word . They never bothered. We had to chase it ourselves for a week phoning and phoning - turned out they hadn't even asked the landlord if we were allowed dogs, they then said we had to pay an extra £200 to have our dogs which we agreed to.

We then booked a viewing of the house again at 2oclock today, and then to go to the office to pay our deposit to hold the house for us, we drove all the way from the wirral- we waited till 2 to find no one had turned up , we phone the office to see where they were , they said Dean was supposed to have met us there to show us round and he'd be with us soon , we then a few minutes later got another phone call saying that Dean knew nothing about showing us round . And didn't have the keys, and that we should go to the office to pay our £750 deposit. So we went and explained that we weren't happy as we'd booked to view it , they said it was booked on the system and they'd 'forgot ' to get Intouch and say they didn't have the keys. Then the 'owner' Ginny of bowker lettings came in with loads of attitude saying 'what's your problem ' so we explained that we'd booked a viewing and no one turned up , Ginny then tried to tell us we hadn't even booked a viewing... Which we had just seen was booked on the computer next to her. She also said when she's promised phone calls back to us . Promises mean nothing in her line of business . So customers mean nothing to this woman . She spoke down to us an wouldn't let us get a word in edge ways. She then said we couldn't have the property because we weren't happy with her service . So we told her to 'shove it'. Never seen or been spoken to a woman who's supposed to be a business woman have so much attitude towards customers . They have no communication between each other in there tiny office . Absolutely disgusting . Only one good thing was we got out £180 admin fee back . Avoid avoid avoid.

This estate agent is really discussing the way they treat people there flat at 29 upper Dickinson street Wigan flat 2 is rat infested and had fungus growing in the kitchen took weeks for them to fix it. But the fungus is poisonous and will eventually return back

One of the most incompetent and unfair "agency" I have came across. Do not pay any application fees agreed with any one from there. Otherwise you will be conned. Stay out!
