ServicesThere is a daily hourly Northern service northbound to Manchester Piccadilly and southbound to Stoke-on-Trent with additional services at peak times. A number of services start /terminate at Macclesfield. The Sunday service from the station is limited, with just five trains each way. CrossCountry and Virgin Trains southbound services to Birmingham New Street and London Euston and northbound services to Manchester Piccadilly run through the station but don't stop.
