We called in for tea before going to see the lights. We had the Sunday Carvery which was lovely. We are a family of 4 and had a child's carvery and a child's meal. The beef was a bit over cooked for our liking. The cauliflower cheese was lovely and cheesy. Service was quick despite being busy. Staff friendly and most helpful. We will call here again.

Very helpful, friendly staff last night :) As my son was feeling unwell the staff were more than helpful when I asked to order food to take to my room. Food was great and so were the breakfasts we ate on the two days . Great service and despite being busy last night the staff went out of their way to help me. thanks

Lovely. Cheap and very tasty. Plenty of options for people and good for kids.

I would like to say a big thank you to our lovely waiter for our visit on the 15th of June. There were 10 of us celebrating my babies 1st birthday and I believe his name was Fenson (SP?). He was friendly and courteous. When he found out it was my sons birthday, he added a candle to the top of his dessert cone. He was too embarrassed to accept a tip but we made sure he took it. Food was delicious too. Thank you to our lovely waiter for going above and beyond to keep our party happy x

Didn't eat. Just popped in for a cooling drink on a red hot day. Made to feel welcome by the two ladies behind the bar (unfortunately didn't get their names).

User

we had breakfast very nice ! enjoyed it plenty of choice too

User

Was pleasantly supprised having tea here tonight last time we came here was over a year and wasn't great. There has been loads of changes including new great kids play area all staffed! So got to enjoy our tea while our son played. And food was loads nicer 🖒 I Had the fish and chips was really enjoyable and fresh. We will definatly be back.. nice to see the turn around..

User

The waiter was very helpful. He got our tea from the self service for us. This was helpful as my Mum is disabled and my daughter is 3 so I can't get 3 breakfasts and 3 drinks from the self service by myself. The play area was average although the girl in charge was excellent with the children. In fact all the staff were excellent and well trained and I thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast.

User

Breakfast is all you can eat, including drinks which makes it great value. There is a wide choise of cereals, yoghurt and pastries, and a full English with everything you could imagine. Staff were polite and helpful.

Evening meal was nice, but nothing spectacular, just average pub grub. Not bad for the price.

Convenient if you are staying at the premiere Inn next door.

User

It was a ok pub and the food was alright and eat able.but sadly we will not be going back and visiting again that pub in Blackpool.because it is over run with Black flys the pub and the toilets are even worse.you can not just sit there and enjoy your meal and have a drink.because you are getting attacked by Black flys all the time in your food and Drinks in everything.

User

Usually excellent, but unfortunately this time despite saying gluten and dairy free several times to stuart, my son was served food with salad dressing containing dairy. Close call and nearly ended up with a very very poorly child. Lucky he spotted it.

Staff also couldn't ascertain whether or not I could redeem my free childs meal against a childs buffet.

Sadly no suitable desserts that are dairy and gluten free. Sorbet would be perfect or "free from" brownies?

When on a recent trip to Blackpool thought we would call into brewers fatter as we’ve always found them great for a value family meal back in County Durham.

However this one was terrible waited 2 hours for food that didn’t turn up asked for kids meals to be brought out with starters but did not. Only good thing about it was we got our money back and left to eat elsewhere

User

We have eaten in the Brewers Fayre at least every year for the last 5, I have to say we won't be again after this year, I called in to use the toilet after parking in the car in the car park before checking in to our room in the premier inn, I actually didn't use it as there were little black flies all over and in the toilets!! We had booked at table in the restaurant for 5.30pm on the Monday night, service was ok, we were informed that there was a limited menu due a delivery breakdown which is fine and not anyone fault. The food was ok not as good as previous years and we had more flies around the bar and table! . We also had breakfast booked, this was when I decided that we won't return unless the pub gets refurbished, we waited a while to be seated and now it was daylight We could see that all the seating was actually disgusting, the seats deep in grime! We also had the dreaded flies around our table yet again. We went to get our Buffett breakfast to find no bacon, no beans, no eggs, no mushrooms, when we told staff they just kept bringing more off what was already there, we then tried to get a coffee but the machine was broken, the cereal turn table thing was also broken, I can honestly say this is the worst place I have been for food!!! Shame it's linked to the premier inn as it may even make us choose somewhere else to stay next year!

User

We come here every September with other families every year but as year progressed it's got worse! Scruffy dirty and just way overdue a makeover considering the money they must make each season it's a bit of a pee take! Premier inn have refurbished and rooms r Lovely but I wud not eat in the restraunt as its filthy and the food is disgusting, no staff so question ridiculous to order food and drinks, dishes and plates and glasses left everywhere, tables sticky and disgusting! Breakfast was edible by a slight margin but I think if they don't take the opportunity to refurb this Xmas ready for next year season then it's the Hilton or big blue for us next year. Sorry as such a shame as we love staying here!

User

Not the best experience. Ordered two mixed grills which were nothing great! The steak on the grill had to be sent back to the kitchen as we couldn't even get our knives to cut into them! Waitress came back out apologising but replaced the steaks with a sausage! Spent the whole meal listening to the staff calling out to each other and bitching about other members of staff. The waitress told us they were in a flap because they were severely short staffed - strange that this was a problem as they only had 10 customers in the whole place to deal with! The drinks were self service and free refils so that couldn't have been an issue for them either! Tables were dirty and cutlery incomplete. Asked for French mustard and waitress returned with English mustard but dropped it quickly and walked off to continue discussing other members of staff at length! Not the most professional staff and definately a key factor to why the place was so empty! Even with a 'bogof' offer on the main meals we will not be back!
