Excellent service,, very nice and polite staff,, food � omg pipping hot and cooked to perfection,, it's been a few year since we have eaten here and the standards have maintained at high ,, would have to say the best in the area keep it up and thank you ,, ����

After being highly recommended we have just had a wonderful Mother’s Day breakfast at Brewer’s Fayre, Winwick Quay. The food was lovely, lots of choice and great value for money. The only negative was how slow the toaster was! We would definitely come back!

Myself and my sister are big on customer service, forever banging on about how much difference it can make! Therefore need to give credit where it's due!



We both visit winwick quey often for breakfast, food is bang on, & the customer service is average, however yesterday ( 20.10.17 ) there was a different member of staff on we haven't see before, (male), I wanted to take time to say how fantastic he was! Very polite, chirpy, very helpful, went out of his way to get smaller Cutlery for the little ones without being asked to, came and politely asked if everything was ok, and even made conversation at the till about the children! His overall customer service skills were fantastic. Usually having 5 children in tow we tend to get not so posative responses! Also on this occasion the food was exceptionally nicer than usual! Maybe there was a different chef? Anyhow, just wanted to leave a good review about our visit on this occasion! Very pleased and certainly be be back again soon for breakfast �

My daughter and I enjoyed a quiet lunch here They have an average choice for vegetarians but my daughter was very pleased they offered quorn sausages. I really enjoyed their beef chilli. Both meals were served quickly and very hot.

The only downfall was being ignored by the one member of staff behind the bar who was on a phone call for 5 minutes while he could clearly see I was waiting to order food. If he had just acknowledge me or apologised when he served me it wouldn't have bothered me at all.

Went for a family meal. We all bar one had carvery. Meat was lovely but what the hell happened to the roast spuds ? They was awful obviously frozen. Well let down. Girl serving us was lovely but those roasties were rank

Me and the wife spent the weekend in the premier Inn next door.

We had breakfast as much as we could eat. Lush and no complaints. Kept us going all day at the Trafford Centre.

Came back and ordered a mixed grill for me and scampi for the wife. Absolutely lush. No complaints at all about the food.

1 little winge I had was the toilets.

I'm sure they washed the floors with cooking oil.

Nearly bròke my neck trying to get a wee wee..

Molly the waitress was really nice and attentive.

Staff friendly, inside ok not crowded, toilets dirty, food below average. Dried up hard gammon, eggs ok (but then that's easy bit) chips cold dry and hard, gravy tastes like packet mix, choices are limited and kids menu is very poor. Wouldn't bother again �

Good company but the food tasted like it had been cooked hours before dried chicken .... then went the toilet and the floor was flooded with piss... looks a nice place and most of the staff really nice just lacking in training in to many areas ashame really could be a great place .. will not go again

Went out for the first time in ages for a meal with my mrs easy order 2 steaks one well done one rare. We were sat outside. The food turned up we had no cutlery so we had to wait for the waitress to walk all the way back in Then cone back until we could even start eating. My mrs cut in to her steak supposed to be well done and was still pink in the middle so it got sent back. By the time her food came back i had finished my entire meal and whichever poor excuse for a chef re cooked the steak thought it was appropriate to slice through the middle of the steak and whack it on the grill to ensure it was cook all the way through. Now.. i have worked in sereval food environments in my time waiting tables and managing being incharge of a team of atleast ten and yes worked in a kitchen preparing food myself and never in my days have i known food servce to be run like this.. i appreciate if they have new staff that need training excetera but i delt with 2 seemingly managerial staff both of which did nothing but offer a new drink for us. There is no organisation towards the taking out of food no one had a clue where anything was going most of peoples food must have been cold. I seriously suggest new management and certainly new kitchen staff because if they have to do that to a steak to ensurr its well done they shouldnt be anywhere near a kitchen.. 100% will not be returning.

We waited that long that we left.

Use to love this place, but won't be going back there again. They think it's good to be getting people to give their car registration plate onto a computer. They have no data protection put in place as they don't think it's necessary.

Me an my partner went here yesterday an I will never return he ordered a mixed grill the egg was hard an stuck to the fork the steak was well over done when asked for medium it was tiny the chicken was so flat the gammon was just fat I orded steak it come with no chips just half a tomoato n veg the chips on partners plate was cold the meal was horrible couldn't wait to Get out an get home an make something myself an the wait we had was 40 mins an wasn't even busy I'd of been more full of a packet of crisps

Just deleted my 5 star review to replace with this 1 start one. Just walked out. They want your car registration number before you can eat. As your vehicle registration number is a personal identifier of the registered keeper, they should have a data protection declaration. They told me they didn't need one as they couldn't see the data. Hmm wonder how that complies with GDPR



I have also logged a formal complaint with Whitbread/Brewer Fayre. It will be interesting to see whether I get a response.

Reserved a table online, got there sign says seat yourself, order at bar. Find our designated table but don't want to be rude, so I politely ask for help, get told to go wait to be seated back at entrance. Waited a good 5 minutes still no one so had to go find someone else who maybe might have a clue, then get seated at a different table because she realises some people have taken our reserved table. Alternative table in a rubbish spot. Stinks of cigarette smoke. Was filthy. We left a few minutes later. Absolutely disgusted never, ever again!

Had a table booked for tonight to have a family meal to celebrate my Husband birthday and my new job. We were shown to our table the area was a little dark, we commented on how dark it was and was told the lights weren't working. When we booked our table (2weeks ago), we said we would be having the chef counter meals. Staff member said that's fine. Turned up tonight to find out that the chefs counter ended the previous day. We then had to chose from the menu. When our food arrived it was very substandard. My husband burger was just luke warm, my chicken which was supposed to be smoother, was dry. We complained to the staff member who served our table, who seemed uninterested in anything we said. If it wasn't for the fact that 2 members in our group were insulin dependent diabetics who needed to eat, we wouldn't have bothered.

The service was shocking and the food was horrendous.

We won't be visiting again!!

Booked a table for 6.30 got there early they sat us at a table waiting. Brought us drinks which we asked for them decided to tell us after us sitting down it's a 45min wait. We didn't mind that. We asked if it's the same wait for starters to be told no these will be out relatively quickly - 1hr later we got our starter. 45mins after the starter came out the mains come out. I said to my partner after the girl took our order wonder how much they get it wrong. The mains came out cold and both was wrong. We wasn't the only one complaint that night as we was finishing our cold soggy food another lady called the waitress over. Wouldn't mind but it wasn't exactly busy. Will definitely not going again. Put us right off!!!!

My daughter and I enjoyed a quiet lunch here They have an average choice for vegetarians but my daughter was very pleased they offered quorn sausages. I really enjoyed their beef chilli. Both meals were served quickly and very hot.

The only downfall was being ignored by the one member of staff behind the bar who was on a phone call for 5 minutes while he could clearly see I was waiting to order food. If he had just acknowledge me or apologised when he served me it wouldn't have bothered me at all.

Went out for the first time in ages for a meal with my mrs easy order 2 steaks one well done one rare. We were sat outside. The food turned up we had no cutlery so we had to wait for the waitress to walk all the way back in Then cone back until we could even start eating. My mrs cut in to her steak supposed to be well done and was still pink in the middle so it got sent back. By the time her food came back i had finished my entire meal and whichever poor excuse for a chef re cooked the steak thought it was appropriate to slice through the middle of the steak and whack it on the grill to ensure it was cook all the way through. Now.. i have worked in sereval food environments in my time waiting tables and managing being incharge of a team of atleast ten and yes worked in a kitchen preparing food myself and never in my days have i known food servce to be run like this.. i appreciate if they have new staff that need training excetera but i delt with 2 seemingly managerial staff both of which did nothing but offer a new drink for us. There is no organisation towards the taking out of food no one had a clue where anything was going most of peoples food must have been cold. I seriously suggest new management and certainly new kitchen staff because if they have to do that to a steak to ensurr its well done they shouldnt be anywhere near a kitchen.. 100% will not be returning.

We called on for lunch on Monday, we went to the book in stand a lady told us to choose any seat and they would come to us, we choose the first empty seats that we could find within site of a lady serving drinks.

We waited that long that we left.

Visited on Sunday the 27/5/18. On arrival found a table that we had to clean ourselves. Food was average and lukewarm. We spent 2 hours in the restaurant and in that time no tables had been cleaned at all.

Me an my partner went here yesterday an I will never return he ordered a mixed grill the egg was hard an stuck to the fork the steak was well over done when asked for medium it was tiny the chicken was so flat the gammon was just fat I orded steak it come with no chips just half a tomoato n veg the chips on partners plate was cold the meal was horrible couldn't wait to Get out an get home an make something myself an the wait we had was 40 mins an wasn't even busy I'd of been more full of a packet of crisps

Just deleted my 5 star review to replace with this 1 start one. Just walked out. They want your car registration number before you can eat. As your vehicle registration number is a personal identifier of the registered keeper, they should have a data protection declaration. They told me they didn't need one as they couldn't see the data. Hmm wonder how that complies with GDPR



I have also logged a formal complaint with Whitbread/Brewer Fayre. It will be interesting to see whether I get a response.

Reserved a table online, got there sign says seat yourself, order at bar. Find our designated table but don't want to be rude, so I politely ask for help, get told to go wait to be seated back at entrance. Waited a good 5 minutes still no one so had to go find someone else who maybe might have a clue, then get seated at a different table because she realises some people have taken our reserved table. Alternative table in a rubbish spot. Stinks of cigarette smoke. Was filthy. We left a few minutes later. Absolutely disgusted never, ever again!

Had a table booked for tonight to have a family meal to celebrate my Husband birthday and my new job. We were shown to our table the area was a little dark, we commented on how dark it was and was told the lights weren't working. When we booked our table (2weeks ago), we said we would be having the chef counter meals. Staff member said that's fine. Turned up tonight to find out that the chefs counter ended the previous day. We then had to chose from the menu. When our food arrived it was very substandard. My husband burger was just luke warm, my chicken which was supposed to be smoother, was dry. We complained to the staff member who served our table, who seemed uninterested in anything we said. If it wasn't for the fact that 2 members in our group were insulin dependent diabetics who needed to eat, we wouldn't have bothered.

The service was shocking and the food was horrendous.

We won't be visiting again!!

Booked a table for 6.30 got there early they sat us at a table waiting. Brought us drinks which we asked for them decided to tell us after us sitting down it's a 45min wait. We didn't mind that. We asked if it's the same wait for starters to be told no these will be out relatively quickly - 1hr later we got our starter. 45mins after the starter came out the mains come out. I said to my partner after the girl took our order wonder how much they get it wrong. The mains came out cold and both was wrong. We wasn't the only one complaint that night as we was finishing our cold soggy food another lady called the waitress over. Wouldn't mind but it wasn't exactly busy. Will definitely not going again. Put us right off!!!!

After being highly recommended we have just had a wonderful Mother’s Day breakfast at Brewer’s Fayre, Winwick Quay. The food was lovely, lots of choice and great value for money. The only negative was how slow the toaster was! We would definitely come back!

Myself and my sister are big on customer service, forever banging on about how much difference it can make! Therefore need to give credit where it's due!



We both visit winwick quey often for breakfast, food is bang on, & the customer service is average, however yesterday ( 20.10.17 ) there was a different member of staff on we haven't see before, (male), I wanted to take time to say how fantastic he was! Very polite, chirpy, very helpful, went out of his way to get smaller Cutlery for the little ones without being asked to, came and politely asked if everything was ok, and even made conversation at the till about the children! His overall customer service skills were fantastic. Usually having 5 children in tow we tend to get not so posative responses! Also on this occasion the food was exceptionally nicer than usual! Maybe there was a different chef? Anyhow, just wanted to leave a good review about our visit on this occasion! Very pleased and certainly be be back again soon for breakfast �

My daughter and I enjoyed a quiet lunch here They have an average choice for vegetarians but my daughter was very pleased they offered quorn sausages. I really enjoyed their beef chilli. Both meals were served quickly and very hot.

The only downfall was being ignored by the one member of staff behind the bar who was on a phone call for 5 minutes while he could clearly see I was waiting to order food. If he had just acknowledge me or apologised when he served me it wouldn't have bothered me at all.

Me and the wife spent the weekend in the premier Inn next door.

We had breakfast as much as we could eat. Lush and no complaints. Kept us going all day at the Trafford Centre.

Came back and ordered a mixed grill for me and scampi for the wife. Absolutely lush. No complaints at all about the food.

1 little winge I had was the toilets.

I'm sure they washed the floors with cooking oil.

Nearly bròke my neck trying to get a wee wee..

Molly the waitress was really nice and attentive.
