My sons 21st Birthday we booked a table at another restaurant who were absolutely dreadful with us wouldn’t light our cake let us eat it in their restaurant didn’t even acknowledge us needless to say myself and 15 guests left without eating.

We turned up hopeful of help here and oh my word what a difference The Manageress was amazing so helpful and kind the staff were awesome seated together comfortably they rearranged tables our food was lovely served at the same time we were made so welcome and not only did they light and bring our cake with cutlery and plates they brought several members of staff with them to sing with us and completely saved our day making it a wonderful experience.

Thank you Mersey Farm

We are Eternally Grateful x

I really enjoyed my dinner but my mum had the fish cakes and she was disappointed because she said they didn’t taste like fish...but there again does your taste buds gone when you are 80yrs old like my mum lol...

Always enjoy our meals here at Mersey Farm and yesterday I tried one of the new items it was chicken and pesto Pie in filo pastry and was served with buttery new potatoes and a delicious dressed salad and was gorgeous. As always staff are always polite and very helpful And lovely place to eat and not expensive.

Food was fine, service was rubbish waited over an hour for our food to come and was told it was because we ordered starters so it delayed the rest. Kids were absolutely starving when the food did come one of the kids meals wasn’t ready yet and after eating it took along time to bring out the kids puddings waitress was just walking up and down not really doing much and no one said sorry for it taking so long not very impressed had my daughters birthday booked here but going to now cancel!

‼️‼️‼️‼️Shocking!!!!Went here for my sons Birthday it was awful the food took around 2hours and wasn’t that great when it eventually got to us dry and small portions the play area for the kids is the only thing that keeps this place going‼️staff were brash and rude. Sooooo hot and stuffy in there, there were older kids in the play area which were so aggressive and nasty using bad language so I could realy let my 4yr old play it was just an awful experience so understaffed‼️‼️And I’m not usually a complainer but seriously try and avoid at all costs‼️I mean sure we paid the bill because we just aren’t like that and I would like to say we won’t return but unfortunately we will because it’s the only place with the kids play area Oh yeah we got home at like 10:30 🤯When the kids have school the next day that’s late!!It didn’t even seem that busy very disappointed

Worst Brewers Fayre I've ever been too. Crap, barely warm food, poor customer service, dirty sticky menus!! Booked a table, waited over an hour for our food. As we got up to leave we were persuaded to stay as our meals had just been made and told we wouldn't have to pay, due to the timing. Couldn't even eat it, absolutely disgusting. Two of the meals were cold. Ended up leaving the free meals wasn't worth eating at all!! Hugely disappointed, wouldn't recommend to anyone!

This is the worst pub I have EVER been to in my life!!! The staff were miserable and looked scruffy and the food I wouldn’t even feed to my dog!!! Over cooked and dry and the apple crumble pudding tasted like someone had put salt all over it mixed with soap detergent absolutely disgusting!!! the ladies toilet looked they had not been cleaned in about a month with in every cubicle!!! I took my 3yr old into the baby change to be met with poo smears on the floor and walls!! We left as we felt physically sick and dirty from being in there!!! Oh and the lemonade was a horrid yellow colour!!! STAY CLEAR people if you want to live!!!!!!!!!!

Awful play area where kids run riot and parents let them cause havoc. One boy aged at least 7 or 8 full on pushed my 2yr old daughter over then as she was getting up waited as pushed her down again by smacking her in the face. Disgusting. Parents didn't even acknowledge or notice what they're kids were doing. It's vile.
