We have started stopping here a few times this year to break our journey up to my fiancés boat in Norfolk. Yesterday we had the carvery which was very nice. The service was very good too. We will definitely be going back again.

Our second visit to the restaurant and it was well worth it. The restaurant was very busy but still managed to deliver the food in an acceptable time. The food was very good and well presented. I have no reservations in recommending the restaurant and Iook forward to visiting them again.

Manager was so helpful. We were a table of 8. Prebooked via website. One of our guests is gluten intolerant. The manager ensured our visit was perfect even to checking the food was safe, even advising he couldn't be confident on the chips not being contaminated by the friar. The waitresses were fantastic even to the extent of giving us table service. Food was spot on for everyone. No complaints.

Excellent customer service, we will be returning. Thank you so much

Lovely pub right next door to hotel. Food excellent great staff very friendly. Definitely come here again if am in the area

User

Friendly staff and Very good service for evening meal and breakfast. Food on both occasions was good, only down side was the Doom bar was off

User

Was very quiet not many people there. It was about 2.30 in the afternoon. I felt that the staff did not serve me properly as was told steak came with salad and it did not. I did not like tomato or Onion rings so it was changed for a side salad. Then no steak knife and could not get the waitress attention. Poor service

User

Was really nice food i had lamb shank off the normal menu and it was delicious. Its a good halfway meeting point for me and my mum so very convinient. Only issue was that we waited 20mins for desserts (dinner came out quicker) and when i reminded them it came out straight away so they blatantly forgot! And we were sat too close to the door it was freezing!

We were told that there isn’t a table available but may have one in the bar as we hadn’t booked. There were lots of tables free and a table was easily found in the bar. We had ordered a chicken burger with no mayo or salad. It arrived with these items and therefore we returned it without any problems. However the salad was just removed and the bun scraped to remove the mayo. The buns were over cooked, the batter was not crispy but soggy and the chips were not freshly cooked and tasted like they had been kept warm for a long period of time.

The breakfast, however, was alright.

User

Recommended to book a table however when we went, place was dead and given table furthest from bar.

Steak was cold and well done having ordered med rare!

Replaced with another but quality was woeful.

Server had bad BO!

User

Poor service, food was OK.

Staying at the Premier Inn so had breakfast at the Brewers Fayre, they do not provide trays so you have to constantly go back and forth to collect tea/coffee, toast, cooked breakfast etc......very tedious.

User

Wouldn't go again. Wish we had gone to McDonald's over the road.

User

Went there for father's day yesterday. Must admit the carvery was of a poor standard, roast potato was pale and the vegetable was sad looking hardly any of the dishes was replenish.

My son chips was cold may be put on the plate while waiting for the burgers to be done. Would not recommend the place. Will stick to Toby Carvery in Hampton.

We were told at 8.15 no tables available until after 10pm and they stop serving at 10pm so they were sorry. This was despite only 1/3rd of the tables in use. Staying in the premier inn attached which is not near a town so would have to drive and find somewhere to eat, so walked to the service station to buy a sandwich, back within 15 minutes and sat outside on the empty tables which you could be served food as the tables were numbered to eat our sandwich and also purchased drinks from the bar, my husband had been interrupted by an irate customer who had waited an hour for food. Went inside at 9pm to sit at one of the many still empty tables, somebody's came in at 9.30 and was served immediately!!!!! Definitely won't use this premier inn again and shame on you Brewers Fayre for lousy service. Had used this brewers fayre the evening before, no problem had booked but was advised it was quiet so booking was unnecessary, it was busier on the Saturday 🤔😒

Stopped here on a journey home. Waited ages by the podium for someone to seat us. Waited in long queue to order food. They brought out dessert before the main so had to send that back! Food arrived which was dry and burnt. I had the chicken burger and hardly any sauce. Asked for mayo and got given a tiny dish with mayo that had started to go yellow. Chips were cold and hair in the coleslaw. Yuck!!! Ate some of the chicken and complained. Eventually the manager gave half money back for burgers. Rubbish and won't return again!!

User

Staff not very friendly. Had a Sunday carvery and the beef was so tough and dry I left it. Roast potatoes were soggy. Gravy like water. Peas over cooked and all shrivelled up. Yorkshire pudding rock hard due to being under heat lamp too long and the cauliflower cheese was undercooked as it was cold and hard. Even the soup I had to start with was cold and like water. I also felt very uncomfortable having a member of staff stood behind carvery watching everything I put into my plate. Very disappointing meal

User

Not happy ! When we arrived we waited for someone to come to podium , asked if there were any tables free at all and the guy said he would check , the place was fairly quiet , he offered a table in the bar area which wasn't the problem . He took us to it and quoted the table number then said the carvery is still on and there are the menus , the problem was the seating ... how ridiculous , ok it's a bar area and they were bar stools but to try and scale one was nigh on impossible , I tried a few times , but had to give in due to the fact I do have a back problem , even when I almost reached its summit I almost pulled the table on top of me , I decided not to stay and on leaving the same guy was at the podium dialling a number on phone I stated that the stools are far too high .. he never made eye contact or apologised in fact he waved his hand as much to say "ssh"! Without we walked out . Not very good at all

User

Never will I go back there again. We decided to drop in on the way home and try their carvery. Worst decision ever made. Had roast shoe leather sorry beef. Roast potatoes were shriveled up with a taste of frozen to them. You then had a choice of peas carrot and swede mix red cabbage and cauliflower cheese and stuffing. The best bit about it was the cauliflower cheese. Everything was warm and the handles on the serving spoons were extremely hot on your hands. And the gravy was as thin as water and very greasy.

And now for pudding. We had the sharing sundae thing. Personally think they had run out as there was more cream in it than anything. A couple of profiteroles with no chocolate on them and sloppy ice cream.

I shouldn't even be able to give a star rating for this !

We ordered a table for 8pm , told food would be 45 minutes.... 1 hour later, still nothing .

We had a 6 year boy waiting for his dinner who by the time it had came , was so tired he couldn't even eat it by the time it arrived.

We were told our order would follow in the next 5 mins .... over 30 mins later, a total of 1hr 40 minutes, still no food.

The waitress said the food hasn't even been cooked... at this time the kitchen was then shut.

For an establishment such as this, to have 4 staff on , during a Saturday night is completely ridiculous, how this was not foreseen as a major problem in advance defies belief !

This is absolutely unacceptable, you should be ashamed to even have this part of your chain!

We will be contacting Brewers Fayre direct to take this matter further .

User

Avoid if possible and go to mc donalds , my husbands dinner came out as a starter minus his chilli , returned to kitchen and was brought back unchanged when my dinner was ready still minus the chilli , my steak was inedible and as tough as old leather , we found this restaurant to be unclean and smelt as if a cat had peed somewhere, we left our food and would advise anyone not to stop here , there are some lovely resturants just a bit further on
