BRS has been instructed by a Major Civil Engineering Contractor to recruit for Two Skilled Shuttering Joiners with experience with RMD and Traditional Shuttering. We also require Two skilled Steel Fixers for the same project. This contract is long term with good long hours. For more information call Shaun at BRS.

This vacancy is being advertised on behalf of Bridgeman Recruitment Services who are operating as an employment business. BRS are currently recruiting on behalf of a major civil engineering company which currently require experienced Concrete Repairers for a Major Project in the Bristol Area. Candidates must have a previous background within concrete repair and also need to have previously worked for specialist sub or main contractors within the repair and restoration market doing hand repairs using mortar based applications such as SIKA, Fosroc etc. NVQ level 2 in concrete repair advantageous as are PASMA and IPAF. This concerns everyone with a Limited Company Contracting in the Rail, Civil & Construction sectors. The IR35 ruling changes April 6th so that agency's are deemed responsible for weather those they issue work to are in or outside of IR35 ruling. Up until now, it's been the contractors responsibility. To remove this responsibility to HMRC Agency's/Companies are simply removing the option to pay Limited, forcing us to PAYE or Umbrella. For those genuinely outside of IR35 where ...PAYE/Umbrella makes no logic for many reasons, this is going to be a huge negative impact in livelihood, income and financial setting over (don't think this wont affect you if, it genuinely is going to hit us all like a bus)
