Wanted! Autumnal pictures of our windmill. Summer is over; let's get inspiration from evening skies, the changing colours of distant woods and morning mists! Here's one from last October by Ann Harrisskitt Photography to start us off.

What a spectacular shot! Sun-kissed grass and poppies. Photo by Sue Fuhrman
Lovely picture by Kate Webb showing just how dry Brill Common is now after so much glorious sunshine.
Gorgeous pictures of the windmill taken recently by Shane Clarke
And here are the lovely teams who made the sail turning happen. Top photo the muscles; bottom photo the brains who oversaw the operation from inside the buck. Thank you again!
The touch rugby guys doing a different kind of workout. Thank you all for all your effort in turning the sails. As you can see - it is hard work! Good news though - everything is in great order and no repairs or remedial work needed on the mechanism and the sails turned smoothly.
Sadly Brill Windmill is NOT open this Bank Holiday. Not enough volunteers. ๐
Amazing who you meet at the Windmill. Someone found his ancestorโs name carved in the wood in the buck. We love stories like that. Thank you the Bunyan family for sharing your family memories with our volunteers.

Excellent for cycling to for climbing and cardio.
Pity the ice cream van isn't always there though.
The views and sunsets can be stunning.
Because it brought back childhood memories of living almost next to it when the Pheasant Pub had a shop underneath. Will always be a big part of my life.
Beautiful and peaceful ๐ Definitely a place to visit on your bucket lists! We will be back!
Very nice London subberg with very green rolling hills and beautiful scenery.
Stuck on top of a hill with the wind blowing a gale stunning views all around
We decided to do the circular route walking into the unknown as it was not well signed posted. Any way fumbled our way round and manageed to get back, this is a challenging walk as as they say what now up must go down and plenty of that. Sure a walk to do in the summer.
Amazing day off there had the dogs and the kids they loved it had some food there really nice place
