I’ve been thinking!
Dangerous I know. But imagine a world where no one judged, or commented on each other in a negative way
What would that look like?
... I was thinking about how we would look at ourselves in the mirror
Would our attitude be different?
I think it would be
Had no one ever said to me about having a ‘big nose’ would I look in the mirror and see a different me?
Or if the boys in school hadn’t mentioned how ‘big and muscly’ my legs where, would I think I had big legs, because I didn’t until they said it
Would ‘filters’ been invented? Would we be filled with insecurities and looking for answers to fill these in expensive brands? Or cosmetic surgery?
What a nicer world it would be if we looked at people and didn’t judge!
We didn’t comment on height, size, weight, colour? We just accepted each other as individuals and that we are all different in our own way?

To all you Mamas exhausted with teething babas
I feel your pain
This has just come up on my timeline.
... It seems a lifetime ago, and just yesterday both at the same time
Both my babas struggled with teeth. They are the devil
Both got secondary problems with teething, like an extra sore bum, or an ear infection
The struggle was real, for both of us
But to all the Mums out there exhausted. It is only temporary
They get their teeth and start sleeping again...I think. Ha!

Keeping the core strong through pregnancy is super important
As the pregnancy develops, and everything softens, your uterus grows bigger giving you a beautiful bump and bigger boobs (leave that up to you if you think that’s a good thing 🤭)
Your back is now placed under stress it’s not normally used too. Your core muscles need to be able to support this extra weight
... If it can’t, then this is where aches, pains and pregnancy problems can occur

We have been going to Jo for group PT sessions, 3 of us, training together has certainly been beneficial for us, who knew we were so competitive?? The sessions are great, always different, always informative and with our goals firmly at the forefront when Jo has designed the sessions.

Would highly recommend Jo and the group sessions!

This is a brilliant class, really good work out in a relaxed environment which caters to your babies needs (even if that's just to sleep or in my case prefer the exercises that have him in my arms). Fab teacher and looking forward to our next class tomorrow. My son is only 12 weeks old and I've found this class a great way to get out the house and exercise with him whilst meeting other mums and children. If your thinking about doing this class I would say definitely go for it!!!!

These classes are amazing for both before and after having a baby. Jo mixes up the classes so it never gets boring. The classes will push you if you want to work hard or you can go at your own pace. I've been going since my little one was 6 weeks old and can definitely feel the burn the next day. Would highly recommend

The bumps to babes classes are inclusive, fun and really work. I also did the diastsis recovery 6 week course and by the end of it the 3 finger gap in my stomach was a 1cm ridge! So happy with the progress! Jo is so lovely, personable, supportive and most of all knowledgable and professional. I would recommend the classes and the PT to any new mums as they have really helped me to feel like me again!! Thank you Jo ��

Strongly recommend these classes for mums wanting to regain some fitness after pregnancy / birth who cannot / do not want to leave baby whilst attending a normal gym class. I attended for several months with my 3 year old and my baby, I would not have been able to attend at a normal exercise class due to breastfeeding my baby on demand which was unpredictable. Jo is very friendly and welcoming and it is a nice way to meet other mums too. Classes are suitable for all abilities as options are given and you can rest / attend to baby whenever you need to during them. No two classes are ever the same so a good variety of workouts. Sadly I'm going back to work but have been going to this class at the Hudson CC for the whole of my Maternity Leave and have loved it. Great little weekly work out, time to chat and share experiences with other Mummies too! Will miss the class lots! Jo is a great instructor, giving you encouragement and motivation with the space to spend time with your little one. My LG enjoyed the sessions too, either being my weights or playing with the other babes!

Loved bumps to babies fitness and went to the Hudson Children's centre class on a Tuesday night until I was 39 weeks pregnant. I have given birth 2 weeks ago and can't wait to start classes again with my little boy on a Friday morning, Jo is great and the pregnancy classes kept me fit and made me feel great couldn't recommend enough.

Just completed the 12 week transformation programme and have lost 9lb and 5 inches. In addition, Jo has given me the confidence again to exercise. Her personal training workouts have great variation so no getting bored. She has a lovely bubbly personality to make you laugh while pushing you out of your comfort zone to achieve results!!

Just been to my first class and loved it! Going to be aching tomorrow but well worth it. I've tried other types of exercise since having my baby but hated leaving him so this class is just what we needed. I get to exercise and he gets to play and explore with the other babies but still have cuddles whenever he likes. Thank you!

I’ve only been attending the Bumps 2 Babes post-natal classes for a short time but I am already getting so much out of them. It’s so hard to find time to exercise now and having a class where you are welcome to come with baby in tow is amazing. Jo always tailors exercises to my capabilities as a disabled person and is always so encouraging and engaging as a teacher. I leave the class every week buzzing and full of beans. Can not recommend it enough!

I’ve had group sessions with Jo and she’s really got us all motivated! I really enjoy the sessions even if I can’t walk the next day! :-)

She takes your goals into account and can work around any pre-existing injuries or conditions.

Jo makes the sessions fun, and helps you feel confident that you can achieve your goals. I was a regular gym goer and keen to maintain my fitness even at later stages of pregnancy, Jo’s classes helped me achieve this safely taking each class at my own pace and listening to my body with Jo’s guidance. Following pregnancy I was left with a 2 finger separation and from 7 weeks post birth started back with Jo’s diastasis recti pt and antenatal classes weekly, with baby by side throughout. Jo’s classes are motivational and have helped me recover my core fitness and close my gap safely by today 13 weeks in. I continue to enjoy the weekly classes and now know how to safely exercise both during and following pregnancy. Thanks so much Jo for your endless patience (even with crying babies!) and for guiding my recovery journey, forever grateful! Would thoroughly recommend!

I went to the bumps 2 babies fitness class at the Hudson centre this morning. It was a really good workout, where you can take your little ones with you. It's a nice friendly atmosphere, where if you need to, you can stop to see to your little one. Enjoyed the little bit of insanity today! Thanks Jo, see you next week xx

I love the PT sessions with Jo. I started these sessions as I was lacking in confidence, energy and motivation. I feel stronger and fitter each week. Jo has the perfect mix of being able to encourage and empower so not only does your body change, your mindset does too.

I have been to both anti natal and post natal classes and they are wonderful. The classes are so relaxed, but yet you feel like you have had a workout. Jo makes sure to help you with all aspects of fitness from your core to even your pelvic floor. The one thing that makes these classes so wonderful is the group size, they are perfect size to get to know the other mums and share experiences. Jo herself will try to help you when she can, sharing her own experiences about pregnancy and motherhood. I can’t recommend bumps to babes enough.

Couldn't recommend Bumps2Babes more, it was one of the best baby groups I've been to! It feels great to be able to do something for yourself and take your baby with you. I was never into exercise before but loved and hopefully I'll carry on being more active. I'm also below my pre-pregnancy weight now so thanks Jo! �❤
