I’ve never had a local, or a regular place that I could go to, but I feel like I have found it.



I felt comfortable from the moment I walked in and at ease all evening! With attentive and helpful bar staff, incredible live music and just an amazing ethos about the whole place!



If I could be there every day, I would, without question!



I’ll be seeing you again, very soon!

Popped in for a bite and a bev after work yesterday. The staff were lovely and the food yummy af. I had a rare beef bagel with melted cheese, gherkins, jalapeños and all kinds of good stuff. Washed down with homemade iced tea. 10/10 will eat there again very soon.

Had a great day there on Saturday, great service, food, drinks, music and wonderful atmosphere. Cannot wait to get back there when the live music is on

Absolutely brilliant, Matt and Mark were so polite and had amazing customer service! Such a cool vibe will definitely returning! Five star!!!

Absolutely amazing. The staff were fantastic and made us feel at home. I won the dice game and received a free top for my birthday. Plus their beer is to die for. Can not wait to go back!!!!

We had food in the day here at the beach bar. Beautiful food, very cheap for the quality food that was made. Explosions of flavours in the fried chicken and other dishes. Quiet as it was 12.30, food was amazing and had a modern funky feel to it. Still to come here at night. Extentions to the area are happening soon so can't wait to see the rest

We didn't eat but the bar staff were lovely we drank in one bar but had to get prosecco in the first bar and we could take into the 2nd both staff in both those bars yesterday were lovely we will eat next time.

I ordered a Strawberry Daiquira and was surprised to have it served in a pink plastic cup . I queried this and asked why it was in a plastic cup and was told 'that's the American way ' this was patently not true.

In these days when the excessive use of plastic is discouraged and would be interested if your explanation

What a great idea for New Years Eve... Just a shame it was executed so poorly. There must have been 5 members of staff (excluding food stalls) in the whole place. It resulted in angry bar staff and even angrier customers waiting about 15 minutes for a drink. 2 people on the main bar on NYE? Bonkers.

Used to be great. Foods gone down hill. Eat new york burgers are discusting soggy barms. think they have lost the idea of the place. quality has gone out the window. And the cocktails shouldn't be allowed to be called cocktails as there is only a shot in it and thats including the mixers with a cup full of ice for 7.50 each. So we nipped down the road for proper cocktails 2 for £7 at slug and lettuce far stronger. And they kept passing me with food that looked far better than beat Street. Hope you pull it back to how it used to be. We did go to stockport carnival yesterday there Street food venue was far better quality. I just wish I could remember there name.

I wanted to like this bar so much. Good description, good theme, good look. However it was ultimately disappointing. The "rules" on the free hotdogs were not made clear and then staff made it awkward when you asked questions. Happy hour, although written in the menu, was again maybe not made as clear when ordering so mistakes could be made by customers which again staff made into an awkward situation. Generally staff on our visit seemed less than eager to please which was surprising when you're in a group of 15 all spending money at the bar. Complete contrast to the experience of The Gasworks 2 doors down.

Was loving it until the so called supervisor was rude to me when I was trying to explain another lady had been waiting longer than me at the bar! Tried to find someone in authority but as usual with these places there isn’t anyone available! Shame as it’s a good quirky bar but the attitude of one of the staff members has made me not want to go back! :(

This bar is one place I will not be visiting again!

I was ignored at the bar for a start and when I mentioned it to a barmaid she was rude to me and told me I haven’t been there long so be quiet.

I then was pulled a pint of bud light (which I drink often) and told her it didn’t taste right to which she replied it’s bud light and that how it tastes so drink it! (Nice)

What a let down and the owner NEEDS to address his staff quickly and read these reviews or this place will shut down!

Gas works is the place to go as the staff are friendly

And one more thing WHERE WAS MY FREE HOTDOG??

I would score -10 if possible. Very rude staff with a bad attitude asked a simple question and they can’t even go and get the answer, cannot believe the staff was sticking fingers up and swearing at me I was nothing but polite to them.
