nothing what I expected, first time been in there not a bad night at all well done to the staff, dj's vocalist and all the management for a lovely NYE night with all my long time friends thanks again

had my dads 50th party here last night and everything was great, firstly they had helped us out massively as we had been let down with another room and they booked us in last min. tables were dressed exactly how we had asked, good quality food, great dj and lovely staff.

kids where kept entertained with the free bouncy castle and pets corner and also the arcade.

Held our cake over night after the party and deposit returned without any issues.

we had a fabulous night thanks guys will be rebooking for our future events

What a fantastic venue for parties, venue absolutely stunning, food first class, Lee and his staff were fantastic making Ben's 18th Birthday party so special ....thank you all xx

Well what can say had my son wedding here today amazing the staff amazing the room amazing and well done to Lee and all his staff they made are day perfect and couldn't do euff for us all if you need to hirer a room I say you need to book it here just to say thank you to you all x

We had my late mothers wake here on 24th August. Lee was very helpful. Nothing was a problem. They set the room up and where the meal was to be served. The bar staff where helpful and courteous. Looking forward to our next visit in December.

We book the room for my daughters christening and we all had a great time. The room was decorated lovely or us and we were able to bring the food down the evening before and it was all set out for us. The bar staff were great. They uncovered the buffet at what time we wanted, cleaned up after it, cleared the empty plates and glasses constant through the day and even had all my trays stacked and ready for us to collect the next day. full deposit refunded the following day. thankyou for a great day.x

So after reading all the reviews I was abit apprehensive about having my sons and nieces joint Christening here yesterday, however I still went ahead with it, and what an absolutely fantastic day we all had.

I honestly can't thanks lee and the staff enough.

Just had Christmas dinner here with my sister Elaine, brother in law Tony, niece Laura and nephew ethan. What a fantastic day, the food was delicious and plentiful, and the staff were fantastic. Well done Lee and all the team. Thank you x

Just celebrated my daughters christening here on Sunday. Absolutely amazing. I had read some reviews the weeks leading up to the party & was dreading it, but can not fault a thing. Was allowed to drop off food the day before to store at the venue, staff helped open the buffet & spent the afternoon/evening cleaning up for us. We left prams, the decorations & cake & lee himself the next day opened up early for us to collect with a FULL REFUND on our deposit. All I have had is compliments on venue choice & it helped that staff said we could stay on later until the live entertainment, so didn't have to ask any guest to leave either. Big bouncy castle for all the kiddies & pets corner too. Customers for life. Thanks again guys ’┐Į

I had my daughters 3rd Birthday party at the club today and what can I say apart from absolutely FANTASTIC!!! Firstly Kayla for setting up the beautiful room with all the lovely table cloths and chair covers with the matching bows within the pirate and fairy theme. Secondly to the staff who worked so hard all day especially Rebecca! Thirdly to Lee who went the extra mile by not only going out and ordering balloons but also set up 4 different types of bouncy castles, which catered for all ages! Ruby had a great time and we will definitely be returning next year! Thanks again guys!!

Had the pleasure of returning here yesterday albeit for a sad occasion (funeral)

I was taking part at a music festival here last year and was so impressed by the owner, Lee and his wonderful plans for the place. To see his dreams now manifesting shows what can be done for the community when you put your mind to it. Who would have thought there'd be exotic birds of paradise in Burnage?! As well as sheep & chickens! (There's even a salon on site!)



But it's the new function room that grabbed my attention... It's fabulous! With 2 bars and a stage, it's a largish room but manages to feel somehow cosy... Great atmosphere! There are so few function rooms that do what they need to do in Sth Manchester... This one is top of my list now!

Had our Wedding Reception at the club and I can't thank Lee and his team enough! They went above and beyond our expectations and we had an amazing day and night!! We got everything we paid for plus a lot of surprises added on by Lee which was amazing! Every little detail was planned and executed perfectly, we had lots of happy guests!

Had my sons christening here an I've got to say it was top class an the food was really good

Had my son's 5th birthday party here must day had a great day kids loved every bits and everyone had a great time staff were lovely thank you so much would recommend this place.

Had my nana's 90th here in March and know my friend had her 40th here too. This place is off the chart Lee thank you for mama's and you didn't it again for my friend Fran. Thank you x

Had my 60th birthday at this venue and I have to say well done to all the staff and the owner lee who was outstanding helpfull in every way, he even booked taxis for all who were leaving at around 1 30 , speciall thanks to Rebecca who looked after all the presents. The room was brill the buffet brill and decor, and last but not least the beer was well looked after, well done burnage cricket club.

Had an absolutely amazing night here celebrating an 18th birthday. All the staff were very friendly and nothing was too much effort.

Would highly recommend this venue to anyone. Keep up the good work

Had a fabulous night celebrating a friends birthday party on 30 th July 17 Staff were very polite and made sure empty glasses and bottles were cleared continuous from the tables. Great family day today at the club. Thanks Lee for putting the barbeque on all enjoyed ourselves today and thanks to the staff working in this heat all day. Great to see the dad's getting involved with the kids and having water fights

Friend of mine went to a party here recently. He had a great night with great staff an management that went above an beyond to make the evening special

First time going and thought it was really good ’┐ĮThe fireworks and light show was amazing. Will be looking out for other events happening here

Fantastic night for my wife's 60th birthday party beautifully decorated by staff lovely buffet all members of staff were so helpful bar staff were terrific would recommend this venue to everyone 5stars from me

Fantastic club had my little girls christening here and couldent fault it at all. Now the room has been extended and refurd looks amazing. We have all our family celebrations at this club and will sure be having plenty more in the future. Its fantasic for children and the staff are very helpful and friendly wouldent recommend any where else other than this place get booking your parites and have a fantasic time!!!!!

Came here for my friends wedding yesterday and the whole day was brilliant.The room was absolutely gorgeous all done up in the purple theme.The singer was absolutely fantastic and had us all up dancing.The bar staff were very efficient so we were never waiting long for a drink.Everything was spot on.Thanks for having us.Oh and a big shout to the bouncer for being an absolute legend!! ’┐Į’┐Į

I cannot recommend this club highly enough! What (another!) fantastic party we had on Sunday. Love it when I can bring all my Yorkshire family over to my hometown and get together there- bouncy castle- pets corner-arcade, my grandchildren loved it!

Lee Pepper & his wife Michaela and their team go above & beyond to make your occasion perfect. Sunday night was the latest of more than a handful of parties we've had here just this year... from a christening, birthdays & my Dads funeral.

If I could give them 10* out of 5* it still wouldn't be enough! ’┐Į’┐Į

Had my babies christening there last week everything went fine no problems at all would recommend this place to anyone who would like to host a party ’┐Į

Quite a nice place . Had a small 50th gathering . Came from London as we had been to a party before and really enjoyed it . So decided to have it here as we have family in close by . Had it on the 25th Feb 2017 . They were refurbishing it . But it was fine . Although we did have to wipe over the tables ourselves again that was ok with us . We needed a couple more table cloths ask if we could borrow 2 to which they said ┬Ż40.00 each.Mmmmmm wot is that about ..We got there about eight pm to which turned out a lovely evening . Bar staff were lovely . We cleaned the room up at the end and went home happy ..There was no trouble . No one was angry but when we rung the next day for our deposit we were told we couldn't have it as there were two punch holes in the men's toilet .Now we know that was nothing to do with us . We were also told we were excellent but yet we must have done these holes . We were told by other people that the holes were actually done before we got there .. I have put this down to loss but am warning people to be very careful. It's totally out of order as other men were using the toilet to . I feel it was just put on us so the deposit didn't have to be returned . Just be careful they don't rob you of your deposit as well .. I will also say Lee is a nice bloke . Don't think much of the owner ..’┐Į’┐Į’┐Į

Difficult to put an appropriate rating really so unfortunately I had to give it ' I don't like it'.

This could be a really good family bar and it looks like the manager has really tried. However we went on bank holiday when it was the derby. There was a bouncy castle a good size but there was no adult supervision,( except parents) so the smaller children had no shoes on and were playing well but then bigger kids with shoes on was getting on so the little ones were getting hurt - accidentally. The bouncy castle was anchored firmly but could have done with a clean.



There is a pets corner and notices up advising people who have touched the animals to clean their hands with the gel provided - there was none !!!! Again there was no adult supervision - luckily while we were there the children who went in the pens with the animals were lovely with them.



The toilets in the main bar area were impeccable however the ones in the back room,(function room) were a bit of a mess and no toilet paper. ( possible because the kids were using these).



Out in the patio area someone dropped a glass and the staff came out right away to clean it up.



With a few additional staff this could be a brilliant family pub/bar.



Overall I would go again but I know to take anti bacterial wipes and tissues next time !

The gents toilets were revolting - cubical filthy, urinals blocked up with piss, floor soaked, sink dirty, hand dryer not working and just a general smell of stale urine. Disgusting

The facilities were dirty, toilet doors did not lock, toilet rolls not refilled, no soap / handwash either. The children's play areas were not secure or monitored by staff for safety, the arcade games took money but didn't work, staff blamed the children and would not reimburse us and the petting area only had 2 animals. The staff spent more time drinking and smoking than they did attending to guests. Security were rude and abusive. Guests were searched for drugs and alcohol by a man that was smoking weed in the children's play area. Absolute scam, what you are offered and pay for is far from what you get!!! Such a shame as it could be such a lovely local venue.

TERRIBLE... Do not use this venue the owner and his staff are very rude, and make up lies... to not return your deposit also the doormen made threats towards guests and were making them feel very uncomfortable

Lee pepper is a arrogant arsehole who makes up lies so he doesn't give people their deposits back...and to top it all the building work isn't complete or safe as he hasn't paid the builders either...it should be shut down he's running it into the ground..i'm sure things will change soon..he won't keep getting away with this..!

If your looking for somewhere to hold a party DO NOT pick burnage cricket /sports club the owner LEE PEPPER is rude and arrogant I booked the room from 10 till 7 ┬Ż225 he comes to me at 6.25 tell me I need to leave the room by 6.30 cos he has another do booked for 7 he told me I had the room till 6.30 but when I booked and put my ┬Ż100 deposit down NONE REFUNABLE he told me I could have it till 7 I had to stop my Dj and take all my food and guest to the next room as you can imagine I was fuming I kept my cool cos of guest and respect for my sons christening day I wouldn't of left the room only I know the people who was haveing the next doo ( a reaguler of his )and did not want to ruin there day the place looks good and looks good for kids BUT DONT BE FOOLED the toilets stink the men's are disgusting Kevin told the bar staff nothing was done about it ..lee thinks it's acceptable to show people round the venue in the middle of my party how RUDE the floor is coming up in places nearly fell a few times he's tried to screw it down in places instead of sorting it out proper ..lee was walking round all day watching everything felt like he was trying pick faults with people so I felt couldn't relax .. lee was shouting in my 12 year old nephews face in stead of speaking to his parants if he was doing somthing wrong .. I went to get my ┬Ż100 deposit back the next day I told him everything I said on here and a bit more ...and all he said about it all was sorry you felt like that with an arrogant manner 30.7.17

No one was angry but when we rung the next day for our deposit we were told we couldn't have it as there were two punch holes in the men's toilet .Now we know that was nothing to do with us . We were also told we were excellent but yet we must have done these holes . We were told by other people that the holes were actually done before we got there .. I have put this down to loss but am warning people to be very careful. It's totally out of order as other men were using the toilet to . I feel it was just put on us so the deposit didn't have to be returned . Just be careful they don't rob you of your deposit as well .. I will also say Lee is a nice bloke . Don't think much of the owner ..’┐Į’┐Į’┐Į

Difficult to put an appropriate rating really so unfortunately I had to give it ' I don't like it'.

This could be a really good family bar and it looks like the manager has really tried. However we went on bank holiday when it was the derby. There was a bouncy castle a good size but there was no adult supervision,( except parents) so the smaller children had no shoes on and were playing well but then bigger kids with shoes on was getting on so the little ones were getting hurt - accidentally. The bouncy castle was anchored firmly but could have done with a clean.



There is a pets corner and notices up advising people who have touched the animals to clean their hands with the gel provided - there was none !!!! Again there was no adult supervision - luckily while we were there the children who went in the pens with the animals were lovely with them.



The toilets in the main bar area were impeccable however the ones in the back room,(function room) were a bit of a mess and no toilet paper. ( possible because the kids were using these).



Out in the patio area someone dropped a glass and the staff came out right away to clean it up.



With a few additional staff this could be a brilliant family pub/bar.



Overall I would go again but I know to take anti bacterial wipes and tissues next time !

The gents toilets were revolting - cubical filthy, urinals blocked up with piss, floor soaked, sink dirty, hand dryer not working and just a general smell of stale urine. Disgusting

The facilities were dirty, toilet doors did not lock, toilet rolls not refilled, no soap / handwash either. The children's play areas were not secure or monitored by staff for safety, the arcade games took money but didn't work, staff blamed the children and would not reimburse us and the petting area only had 2 animals. The staff spent more time drinking and smoking than they did attending to guests. Security were rude and abusive. Guests were searched for drugs and alcohol by a man that was smoking weed in the children's play area. Absolute scam, what you are offered and pay for is far from what you get!!! Such a shame as it could be such a lovely local venue.

TERRIBLE... Do not use this venue the owner and his staff are very rude, and make up lies... to not return your deposit also the doormen made threats towards guests and were making them feel very uncomfortable

Lee pepper is a arrogant arsehole who makes up lies so he doesn't give people their deposits back...and to top it all the building work isn't complete or safe as he hasn't paid the builders either...it should be shut down he's running it into the ground..i'm sure things will change soon..he won't keep getting away with this..!

If your looking for somewhere to hold a party DO NOT pick burnage cricket /sports club the owner LEE PEPPER is rude and arrogant I booked the room from 10 till 7 ┬Ż225 he comes to me at 6.25 tell me I need to leave the room by 6.30 cos he has another do booked for 7 he told me I had the room till 6.30 but when I booked and put my ┬Ż100 deposit down NONE REFUNABLE he told me I could have it till 7 I had to stop my Dj and take all my food and guest to the next room as you can imagine I was fuming I kept my cool cos of guest and respect for my sons christening day I wouldn't of left the room only I know the people who was haveing the next doo ( a reaguler of his )and did not want to ruin there day the place looks good and looks good for kids BUT DONT BE FOOLED the toilets stink the men's are disgusting Kevin told the bar staff nothing was done about it ..lee thinks it's acceptable to show people round the venue in the middle of my party how RUDE the floor is coming up in places nearly fell a few times he's tried to screw it down in places instead of sorting it out proper ..lee was walking round all day watching everything felt like he was trying pick faults with people so I felt couldn't relax .. lee was shouting in my 12 year old nephews face in stead of speaking to his parants if he was doing somthing wrong .. I went to get my ┬Ż100 deposit back the next day I told him everything I said on here and a bit more ...and all he said about it all was sorry you felt like that with an arrogant manner 30.7.17
