Cafe Yes is a revolutionary concept aimed at creating vibrant and connected community in Rossendale. A place where everyone is welcome, regardless of age, creed or social standing, its sole purpose being to develop a caring, sharing, tolerant society where everybody is included.
Understanding that a culture, which holds money more important than people, can only be healed by doing the opposite …recognising that people are more important than money… all our food is offered on a pay what you are able to pay basis. . our food is also healthy and delicious ! We are totally not for profit and really hope to get the message across that sharing the resources that our planet generously gives us for free, is probably a better way of being than doing business with it !
We aim for the cafe to become a focal point within the community, where artists, musicians, poets can perform. . where alternative healing therapies can be offered . . . where any local interest group can have a voice. . . where information on true sustainability, health, ecology, social welfare and finding a better way to live can be shared. . . and where people can come together again, rather than feeling isolated, excluded and lonely.
