Off there this morning (as usual), for my pot of tea! Fantastic cooked breakfasts. Very friendly staff. Nice range of coffees and teas, plus some beers. I think I first went to Cafe Tabac in about 1984 ... and I have been going there ever since! The food is always good and well prepared, with quite a few excellent vegetarian options. Always interesting customers, with many regulars, which suggests how popular Cafe Tabac is. Suprisingly large inside with a couple of tables outside. Great just to watch the world go by on busy Bold Street!

Lovely quirky bistro type place... Great music playing. Cosy booths and the food was freshly cooked, arrived hot on the plate and my goodness Was it tasty!!! Compliments to the chef!!

I came across this Gem purely by chance, 19 Years ago, and have been returning time after time ever since. Due to its location , it's said that if you stay in here long enough, then you are bound to see someone you know walking past the window! It's a great venue, regardless of whether you're on your own, with your other half, or with a group of friends. There is a great choice of Food and Drink available on the Menu, which is all competitively priced. There is an amazing funky ambience around the place, and all the Staff are really friendly. If you haven't been in here yet, then I strongly recommend that you do try it out, next time that you're in the City Centre. I'll be doing just that again; in 2 Weeks time!

First time iv been here and I have to say it was really nice! The staff were pleasant. On entering we we wer told we could put our suitcases in another room which was great! ..The food was delicious! It was lovely and warm inside.! The price was great! We had a full English for ┬Ż6.50 ...can't find anything to fault it! Would highly recommend this place! We walked ten minutes from our hotel just to go here frm looking at recommendations online!! Only thing that let it down was the toilet room... but other than that it was great ...would deffo go again !

Always take my kids in there for breakfast on Saturdays. Been going there since I was 18, now I'm 51, great food, service and staff

Very poor service. Wated 35 mins for breakfast only to be told there would be a further 10 minute wait. Whilst others who got seated long after our table had their food delivered. Was really looking forward to breakfast at tubac and it was spoiled by not having our order put in properly. To add to insult when leaving disgruntled I was asked why I had not mentioned our food not being delivered...um do you want me to cook the food too? Very unhappy. I do not normally do reviews but this really needs noting.
