Cakes by Vanilla will be closing down at the end of April.
We are fully booked until then so will not be taking any further orders. Our shop opening hours will be limited over the next 3 weeks but all orders and collections will of course be fulfilled as arranged with each customer.

Our shop will be closed Wednesday 21st March in the afternoon, and all day Thursday 22nd March!

We've had a number of cakes made, including a wedding cake, retirement cake & birthday cakes, all of which were exceptional in their design and almost to good to eat, almost.

Now looking forward to calling in to order a Christmas cake.

We went to Vanilla for our wedding cake as we had heard good things about them and were getting married in the area. We explained Bryony and Holly (as best we could) how we wanted the cake to look and when it arrived it was better than either of us could have hoped for. All the guests commented on how good the cake looked and tasted excellent too. Could not recommend them enough.

Two amazing young ladies who made another 2 ladies the happiest newlyweds! Our cake was beautiful, perfect in fact. And after 5 days...the coconut cake still tastes like brand new! Next step...booking our anniversary cake! x

Our wedding cake was absolutely perfect. We wanted a cake to reflect our love of travel. The cake was a world map built on 3 tiers and looked amazing. Many wedding guests commented on how great it was. Thank you so much! Friendly, straightforward and stress free. Will absolutely recommend you to anyone we know getting married in future!

Our son's Paw Patrol cake and fairy cakes were perfect - thank you so much. Excellent from start to finish, the cake looked amazing, the attention to detail was just incredible, and it tasted fab too!

Just wanted to say a massive thanks to the girls at cakes by vanilla. Nothing was to much trouble! I'm coeliac so wanted a gluten free cake I could enjoy, the cake tasted lovely and many guests didn't even know it was gluten free. Me and Richard had been and decided on our cake months before the wedding, in the lead up to the wedding I think 2 months before I changed my mind on the cake, it wasn't a problem they booked us back in and we went ive the design and came up with a cake personalised to us! The cake and cupcakes looked and tasted amazing! I'll be sure to use you again in the future. THANK YOU X

Cakes by Vanilla is our absolute favourite place for cakes. Every single one we have had so far have been amazing, the attention to detail is incredible! Whilst the lemon flavour is a firm favourite in our house, we are sure that the others are just as delicious!!

Brilliant service and a beautiful and delicious wedding cake for our wedding recently. We're still eating it now, fortunately it seems to freeze OK as we would've had a lot going to waste otherwise and it was definitely too good to waste.
